I feel your pain Nol, I do web design for a living (as well as some programing) and coming in and taking up a forum or cms some one else has run for a long time and trying to update it can be a real pain in the butt plate.

You guys need to check out the site that's not part of the forums and get that up to snuff and check links. Example: If you go to requirements page and click on forums it sends you to www.sandtroopers.net/forums (which is a floating domain, and could link to some bad stuff, thus bringing down mepd's google rating) This should be a top priority, it's a simple fix (10-15 minutes to check the links on the site.)

Aye, it's ABS (0.8 thickness) and it's amazing, + you don't have to paint it, so never have to worry about paint chipping.

I know a lot of people use photobucket and all those other sites, but we're starting to see a lot of images being dropped (for misc reasons: not accessed in {x} months, to much bandwidth, etc) The guy that runs imgur.com is a really cool guy that is offering the service for free. It was set up for digg.com & reddit.com users to post things and not have them disappear due to exceeding bandwidth. It's open to anyone on the net to use for their image uploads. He offers the ability to create an account and manage your photos as well as metrics to who is viewing your images.

Buy some dry wall, it's cheap like $3 for 4x8 -- you can do graffiti and sell it that way. (way cheaper then canvas)

AP is like wearing football (american) armor, I wear mine to the bar from time to time and get punched a fair amount (marines & army think it's funny when they're intoxicated to punch me and tell me it's not real armor.) and it's yet to crack.

Creating a bunch of these with unique serials would make great raffle tickets.

I bought mine when $CAN was a bit higher then $US and shipping added up to around $930ish if I remember exactly.

So I finally broke down and weathered my armor, I was hoping to find some fullers earth -- but alas, none to be found around here. Here's how it turned out, I tired to keep it somewhat subtle. And as a bonus, my helmet with it's Five-O-Clock shadow (part of weathering process)

Ya I thank you guys for that, the biggest offender of this is the clone boards -- I just was wondering if anyone knew why that would be standard policy?

I'm not yet a member of the 501st, and this board is not a huge offender of this; but a few of the 501st detachments hide all the stuff needed to get your armor right away behind the 501st member only areas. How are you supposed to get your suits up to par if you have to do a crap job first just to get access to the info? I'm just wondering if there was a reason behind this.

AM is the new FX, but FX is still FX. People are still selling old FX suits, so lets not get the 2 confused.
