  1. That's one wicked Bossk action figure Noel, also, it looks like your daughter racked up with all the Galactic Heroes stuff! Patrick (Padde) I have got the same Deluxe Edition of "Sculpting a Galaxy" I think it's a great book.. You will love the DVD that comes with it.. Also, sweet looking Obi Wan Saber! Nathan (Slave1pilot) Love the vintage Kenner SW stuff! That just takes me back to the days when I was a youngling It looks like everybody got some real cool SW stuff for Christmas this year. As for me, I must have been naughty this year, 'cause I only got a couple of SW related gifts. But I am extremely happy with what I got. So here is what I got for Christmas: A David Prowse autographed picture (The first scene we see Vader in ANH). Yes, Prowse is Vader, not that whiny, no talent, Hayden Christensen, or Jake "Yippee" Lloyd. The other SW related gift was a pair of vintage Esprit gloves (the exact same style that the tree dodging TB's wore in ROTJ).
  2. WOW! it ended with 33 bids, highest bid was $15,100.00 USD... I thought it woulda gone for more.
  3. Merry Christmas everyone!!!! Happy Holidays!!!
  4. Less than an hour to go until the aucton is over...... The high bid still stands at $10,101.00 USD, but you know that there is always that last bidding that makes it very interesting!
  5. Feel the Farce as Family Guy Presents the Final Uncensored Chapter of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi on Blu-Ray and DVD December 21st. Return to a galaxy... far, far away as the freakin' sweet saga continues when "Family Guy: It's A Trap!" arrives exclusively on Blu-ray and DVD December 21 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. In the third installment of the unique and hilarious animated parody of the Star Wars trilogy, the Griffins reprise their roles in this hilarious retelling of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Fans received an early peek of the epic farce at San Diego Comic-Con as Seth MacFarlane previewed 10 minutes of "Family Guy: It's A Trap!" during the Family Guy panel today at 11:00 AM in Ballroom 20. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=9WbmXBj98qs In this spectacular and offensively uproarious final chapter, Luke Skywalker (Chris) and Princess Leia (Lois) must travel to Tatooine to free Han Solo (Peter) by infiltrating the wretched stronghold of Jabba the Hutt (Joe), the galaxy's most loathsome and dreadful gangster. Reunited, the Rebels team up with a tribe of Ewoks to combat the Imperial forces on the forest moon of Endor. Meanwhile the Emperor (Carter Pewterschmidt) and Darth Vader (Stewie) conspire to turn Luke to the dark side, and young Skywalker is determined to rekindle the spirit of the Jedi within his father. The Galactic Civil War has never been more outrageous, as the Rebel forces gather to attack the seemingly defenseless and incomplete second Death Star in the battle that will determine the fate of the galaxy. Adding to the fun, "Family Guy: It's A Trap!" is loaded with hysterical cameo voice spots including Patrick Stewart and Michael Dorn reprising their roles from Star Trek: The Next Generation, Adam West ("Batman"), Carrie Fisher (Star Wars Trilogy) and conservative talk radio juggernaut Rush Limbaugh as the voice of a large carnivorous reptomammal, the Rancor. "Family Guy" is one of the top selling TV on DVD franchises in the marketplace, due in large part to the enormous success of the Star Wars parodies," said Mike Dunn, President, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. "Seth MacFarlane and the creative and passionate writers and animators at Fuzzy Door Productions have done it again with the latest installment; it is some of their finest work to date." As an added bonus, "Family Guy: It's A Trap!" will also be available in Blu-ray and DVD triple-packs featuring all the Star Wars spoofs...the perfect gift for the holiday season.
  6. This helmet is respectfully dedicated to the memory of Irvin Kershner 1923-2010. To help raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, eFX Inc. and the 501st TK Project will auction off one of the most unique Star Wars collectibles ever created in a special auction that will start December 14, 2010 and conclude on December 24, 2010. On its own, eFX's limited edition replica stormtrooper helmet from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, is a sought-after collectible, but the version eFX will auction to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation features 17 signatures from the talented cast and crew of the original Star Wars Trilogy, making it one of the most rare Star Wars collectibles ever offered to fans. 7. I find it a bit amusing and it may be coincidental that the photographs show some damage that occurred to the jelly trooper from the demoulding process of the AA jelly moulds. They appear to have the same afflication that occurred with the original HDPE Stunt helmets with the bumps and imperfections that we have all come to love. Is it just me or am I nuts....BTW, this is a rhetorical question, I already know the answer!
  8. AA has done it again. He has made your holiday fest a little merrier by offering TK Faceplate jelly moulds......and they look Fraking good, or at least good enough to eat. I can't wait to see somebody making a recast of the faceplate for their lid....and you know it will happen. When asked the lineage of the helmet, they will say... Cherry Jello! Stormtrooper Jelly Mould
  9. This probably doesn't add much to the Pauldronless TD...But it's funny how one of them is the first to get killed in the Hanger Bay... If he would have been wearing his TD gear, then maybe he would still have been alive and telling tales about hangar bay 94 ... My theory on the only two TD's that do go down in the hangar bay is, the first one is the Pauldronless/without field pack TD and then the orange Pauldron/Fieldpackless (Captain "STOP THAT SHIP")TD, both of which are more than likely stunt men and a decision was made or they opted not to wear it so as not get hurt or damage the gear. You have to think they were on a tight budget and had very limited time for shooting in a day (from about 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, not counting tea breaks and lunch). If they needed to shoot the scene over or use the TD's for other scenes and the gear got damaged, then they would have to stop and repair or have to replace the damaged props. Given the fact that was not in the budget and the time restraints, this is probably why we are seeing a few run around without the gear.
  10. Ebay, You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious. If you are looking for a great suit, look at TE2, AP, TM, or if your budget is tight, then ATA. ATA is still a great kit, but doesn't have as sharp of details as TE2....The AP you will need to make a TD knee plate (Diamond style) because Mark doesn't make one for his kits. But, making a TD knee plate isn't hard at all. Look at this link:http://www.legionxxiv.org/trooper124/sniperplate.htm If you are needing a suit for a larger height/weight then look at AM. AM is the next generation of FX (more accurate and sharper details then FX). If you do go with AM, then I suggest you go with the AM "LITE KIT" and get a more accurate lid like TE2, ATA, AP, TM, Cap-W, etc..... The AM Lite kit is just the armor with out the lid and the voice amp/electronics. my 2¢ into the mix.
  11. Yeah, definitely different... I don't remember any Big Redwood trees for them to dodge on Hoth, only snow, Wampas and more snow, o'yeah more snow.....Maybe he got lost on the way to Endor
  12. Very cool TD head holder ya got there Great weathering as well
  13. Great video, great looking costumes too! It's nice to see a large group of the same style, whether it is TBs, TDs, TKs, TS etc.... Looks like you all had fun. One thing I have to ask, the TS with the TB helmet, what's up with that? Is it something new from a video game, or graphic novel like the incinerator trooper, TKC or Nova trooper? I did not see it on the 501st "Costume Designation and Description" either... Anyway, it has a cool look.
  14. When I first saw the pix in your post #1 It shocked the frak out of me I said to myself o..k.. But, you did a great job on the weathering.. I give it four Star Destroyers Just delete the TK sniper knee plate and only go with the TD diamond plate knee plate. And the corner of the ammo knee need rounding.... Great job man!
  15. Look Sir, Lego's TDs FREAKIN' AWESOME!!
  16. Brilliant looking troop. thanks for posting the pix. I love this one... Just look at the security guard's face as the TD's walk away... priceless BTW, did you buy any of the new SW toys??

  18. Congrats Ken HIP! HIP! HOORAY!!
  19. Sure Dave, sure....A likely story blame it on the wife... I bet you didn't object to it BTW, did you happen to use the old Jedi Mind Trick, did ya?? Just like I did not mean for this to happen to my den/media room.
