Very sharp looking and nice work. Definitely tempted here, my old T-21 (picked it up from Dutchy a few years back) has taken a beating and a nicer upgrade could be in order. Great job!

Yeah those ears look rough, if you have another set to cut and install I would do that first. Could pick up some from ATA if need be. Some nice trimming and finish sanding and paint and that will be a nice looking bucket.

A little late but definitely another vote for ABS if you plan to troop a lot. I have built both HIPS and ABS suits and see the long term. A fellow squad mate has an older ATA in HIPS and it has cracked in several places from heavy usage, just expected if you troop a lot. He is currently building another ATA suit in the ABS now. I think ABS is just as easy to weather.

I run two tans slings as well. I just don't like the look of the mixed colors for my personal costume lol. I am sure it was whatever they had on hand to make it work at the time, they had no idea what crazy folk would be doing 30 years later lol!!

Flat black here with the brushed silver to give it the worn, "metalized" look.

I can't even imagine wearing my pauldron without the neckseal, that would be so uncomfortable lol. I am sure that was just an oversight during filming, as we all know, there was no shortage of that lol.

ughh, nice job man. I am sooo jealous of all of you. I started on an ESB Fett a few months back but my job situation has put it waaay on the back burner now, no idea when i'll ever finish it. Great work man that is an awesome looking ESB Fett.

I would just continue to sand the helmet down then hit it with a coat of plastic primer, sand and prime again if necessary, then hit with the paint you used to do your suit (making sure the primer works for that paint). Then you are sure it will match and you can weather it accordingly after.

What he said ^^^ They will flex quite a bit, I do the same thing. Get the round part to fit how you like, then pull the lower part down tight to test the fit, sand and repeat. Keep doing it that way until it sits tight how you like it, then attach the top two screws and then the bottom. I have often had to drill a different hole to make it tighter, had to do this on the used CAP I picked up. The rubber neck trim hid the old open hole, so it was no problem. As somebody else said, worse you can do is mess the ears up more and then order a set from ATA anyway, so no big deal, either way.

I purchased a used CAP bucket (was not near that bad) but I tore it all a part, then re-assembled how I wanted and re-painted it and in the end, it looked awesome. Sucks to see it arrive like that but you can fix it.

Haha yeah a few of our guys had hats or other Christmas garments, if you look behind my feet (and the TK) you will see red and green elf boots that were worn by Donna in her TB lol.

My squad trooped the Wellington Holiday Parade, as we have done for many years now. It was my first troop since I upgraded my leg armor and re-weathered my TD. To my surprise, as I returned home from a visit to my family, I see a picture of the paper and some of our squad on it, with yours truly in the lead lol. It was a heck of a first troop with new and relatively untested parts, got me a nice pair of nasty armor bites since the parade route is almost 2 miles lol!!! Thought it was a cool shot and just figured I would toss it up here to share with my dirty brothers.

Just got back home from a little vacation, never logged on while I was away. Just wanted to say thanks for the compliments guys!
