  1. I'll be doing this looks great. Mine are looking a bit new at the moment.
  2. Throwing a spanner in the works with all you aerosol heads, but Rolf (TD252) eventually took all his paint off with acetone and then just polished. There is a topic somewhere on here about it. Saying that I think I will paint mine.
  3. I've been to SDS but there is nothing there but the stuff he is doing now. The original studio where they produced ANH burnt down didn't it and hasn't he moved since? It's about an hour outside of London in Surrey. We could go and check out those mould making skills of his Rolf.
  4. Welcome. Check out Gundamzepplin's new tutorial on weathering fresh with a pin mark.
  5. Good to see this pinned and ready to inspire all those budding TDs
  6. I'm adding those to my Iphoto fpr some inspirational images when I come to do my weathering.
  7. Well I am sure if you want one of us UK guys to pick it up we will be more than happy.
  8. Coming together. I can see the amount of work that has gone into this. Just the points mentioned needs changing I think. Looking forward to seeing this from the desktop onto backpacks.
  9. Welcome to the MEPD Cheese graters are fine but most go for the normal Both pouches are fine. Here is a link to some super accurate pouches being produced at the moment Check it out
  10. What are the dark ways Rolf? We will have to do something and you will have to divulge to satisfy our lust for this twin drummed badness.
  11. Too right and long may it stay that way.
  12. I don't go onto MEPD for a day and this is what happens. Congrats to JKJ for finding the radio and Mike for the awesome work on the dial. Absolutely brilliant!!
  13. Brilliant news about the radio. I Was checking out page 5 and thinking that's it then checked page 4 to see I was late again. Nice work.
  14. Great it's back on. I am really looking forward to seeing the progress and pics.
  15. That's another nice looking pack Rolf. Love your attention to detail.
  16. I remember someone using garden 'leaky' irrigation hose. That looked spot on for thickness and had the right texture too. Looks like 12mm. Here's link for 10mm and 13mm hose. http://www.cityirrigation.co.uk/acatalog/c..._Leak_Pipe.html
  17. Those pouches are looking awesome and nice idea about the weathering. It's like a big pouch swap out there.
  18. So I have to ask Rolf how many pauldrons do you now have!? They look nice
  19. Probably the smaller but in this image it looks like a cross between the two sizes.
  20. Dial looks nice. It's incredible to think if the radio box was a found item, it would have been discovered by now or someone that constructed them hadn't spoken out. Looking at it, it looks like a collection of components joined together. 'It's more bits of machine now than radio ham, twisted and evil'. Sorry couldn't resist.
