Nice!! Of course what much time between the Untrimmed and Trimmed photos? Dang, with all you guys getting a second set of armor I might have to look into getting another set too! Of course after I finish up school December and I get the job i am going for.

I've had great success with the Rustoleum in the taller silver can, SKU# 7592. Dries very fast and the finish is smooth and durable. No aversion to the plastic fusing Krylon brand, but I thought the white when compared to the Rustoleum did not look as good. However, after some more thought and investigation, if you're going Sandtrooper, what does it matter. I used the same paint, works and looks great. When painted the armor retains the gloss under the dirt look.

That trim looks great and thats what comes with the TE helmets. If it is off a little bit it will not matter, having a trim makes it look that much better. BTW - 2581 You should have a set in the next few days, they are in a yellow padded envelope!

I don't think many people will see the rivet. I glued mine, it is really gled one there.

I go tmine today as well. and I agree, its a POS and not much like in the pics on the websight. It is going to take some work to clean the **** thing up. But on the other hand a blaster is a blaster.

Thanks, my Clone Sgt is comming along but I wont finish it for a few months yet. I also have a very nice ROTS helmet (a WC) that I have not even touched yet.

I just finished the weathering on my armor today, except the helmet. I can't bring my self to dirty up the bucket yet, it is so hard to do! The rest of the armor looks great, my blaster is going to be here this week so I am just about done. The last fer things I have to do: Shim the thighs Instal the leather belt Buy a set of good pouches Pay for my pack

A very easy way it to cut a rectangular strip in the size you need and velcro either end and stic it in there. That is basicaly what I am doung for my leg shims.

Take a look at my helmet and you can see how far to trim them out. You basicaly want to get rid of any ridge in the eye, plus it really helps with visibility. http://www.sandtrooper.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=473
