  1. I have the stock mic in my TD helmet but I use a radio shack powerd boom mic for when I am in the Clone, so far it has worked great with no problems.
  2. Just want to see, when was the last time every one trooped in their TD gear. If has been almost 9 months for me. I hav ebeen busy and the last two events I made I went in my Clone. Plus I keep my TD in San Fran and my Clone in Alaska.
  3. Gone bad? I think not! Accuracy Obsessed, not as much as a Fett but darn close. All in all we are one of the most accurate detachments and ANH armor is starting to florish in the legion in general. I say we are just fine and some "oldtimers" are jelous because them may have lost some secret knowledge or power.
  4. Yep I will be there. I don't know what armor is going with me yet. I will be staying at the Ramada along with the rest of Clone Detatchment. Joe TD-1244
  5. I will get a pic of it all once I get it all in one place and then get a shot of the Imperial issue and Republic issue.
  6. Great suit. But don't all new recuits get thier head shaved? *cough* haircut *cough*
  7. If you could not manage to get a TE suit to fit you I would be supprized. Do a search for my pictures. I am 6'4" and 265 and I fit in to a TE suit.
  8. Since He can't do it I humbly volenteer to perform the task of inspecting the helmet(s). If not, Alaska is going to cut off your supply of oil.
  9. Oh, yes I will be there. What suit I will bring I have no idea. Joe, TD-1244
  10. You mean people actualy have TE armor!?!
  11. Under armor Cold gear (it's not as shinny) and the nomes gloves are prefect.
  12. Woha, dude. For that I am keeping this beer, your going to hvae to sit out a round for that one!
  13. These two, My favorite portrate shot, by a Rebel and very nice looking leah. And another one taken in Down Town San Fran that was on the star wars homepage.
  14. Back to the hat issue, I just snagged one on ebay. I think so did some other folks, there were 5 bids on the stupid thing! Now were can I find on of the proper emblem thingys to put on the front?
  15. I may have to site the Xo here. Use of Jar-Jar speak. I think you owe us all a drink for having to read that.
  16. I love th last pic, it has the "Best and worst" troopers. Really digging the hat too, I may have to go scrounge one off of ebay now. Can we make this offical/unoffical for cons a such?
  17. YES WE DO!!!!!!!!!! Tall troopers ROCK!!!! It's not my fault the other guys are short.
  18. I'm crazy... I put my shoes on first, then open the calf to squeeze it on... it does make me nervous, but I do have a thin leg and haven't had any problems yet. What the heck, I do what Mike does...**** the torpedoes full steam ahead gang! Boots first then calf armor, CHEEHOO! Guns Same here. Boots, shins, thighs, Ab/back/butt, neck seal, ammo pouch,chest/back, pack, slip into shoulders/biceps, pauldron, gloves, forearms, handplates, bucket.
  19. Very nice! You pouch must be checking out some chick that walked by.
  20. I used the humbrol for the frown and the Teardrops, side and back pannels and the ears. I did it all free hand.
  21. We did a troop on December and it had to be in the low 40's that morning. I had no problems with it, I will find out more when I bring my armor up here to Alaska. Than should be the end all test. I swear if I put on my armor and my leg armor snaped in half I would ahve screamed like a girl! Followed by first rate cussing!
  22. You need it! It would be very cool if I ran into you at a Con.
  23. Get on your GML and your CO and even the LMO. I know what a pain it can be to get approved. Start reminding those guys on a weekley basis.
