Tyranus
The AM is not a time or a part of the day. The answer lies in the AM. "You must unlearn, what you have learned." Tyranus
OKAY. Here we go! Most, if not all, of you reading this have come to know me as the FX guy. Now get ready for something new from . . . Armor Master - "AM". Every piece has been newly sculpted. More accurate molds deliver cleaner, sharper, crisper pulls for a kit that now offers more features than ever before. All this is achieved while still delivering the same attention to detail, speed of delivery and level of service you’ve come to know and expect. As always, ALL pieces are vac-formed from high gloss .090 ABS plastic, then trimmed and sanded, wrapped and packed for shipping. Here are the descriptions of the new pieces. Photos will come as soon as I have them. Parts are being made as we speak. Chest Plate- Completely new! The breast plate now features enhanced details, and is much more authentic but also formed much deeper to allow for side gap trimming to fit larger troopers and smaller troopers alike perfectly. All lines on this piece have been sharpened, and side-breast details have been added and enhanced. Upper Back Plate- Completely new! On this piece, the gear cog portion has been enhanced, as has the surrounding box, with much sharper definition and details. It is pulled extra deep to allow for trimming and closure of side gap to fit larger troopers and smaller troopers perfectly! http://propaholics.wolfchasers.com/uploade...20-%2030pct.jpg http://propaholics.wolfchasers.com/uploade...20-%2030pct.jpg http://propaholics.wolfchasers.com/uploade...20-%2030pct.jpg http://propaholics.wolfchasers.com/uploade...20-%2030pct.jpg Abdomen Plate- Completely new! All lines and details of the Abdomen plate have been enhanced and made crisper with extremely sharp details. It has been made extremely deep to allow for side trimming and the closing of side gaps for larger troopers and smaller troopers perfectly! It and the cod piece are still one piece, and can easily be cut if you so choose. It also now has a very cool feature: REMOVABLE - CHANGEABLE center box details to easily convert from TK Stormtrooper to TD Sandtrooper with both plates included in the kit! Custom-machined ab plate buttons are now also included. They are exactly 7/16 of an inch across the face. These buttons are designed to be VERY authentic, meet 501st Legion standards, and are unpainted to allow troopers to choose their own color scheme. Paint Scheme: ANH/TESB: 3 Blue and 6 Grey. ROTJ: 3 Dark Blue and 6 Black. In TESTORS colors: Gray: #1138, Blue: The closest match to the blue found, in Testors brand, was the #1110 Blue. Or, 1772 Model Master - Blue Angel Blue FS15050. In HUMBROL colors: Gray: #5 Dark Admiral Gray. Blue: #15 Midnight Blue) http://propaholics.wolfchasers.com/uploade...20-%2030pct.jpg http://propaholics.wolfchasers.com/uploade...20-%2030pct.jpg http://propaholics.wolfchasers.com/uploade...20-%2030pct.jpg http://propaholics.wolfchasers.com/uploade...20-%2030pct.jpg http://propaholics.wolfchasers.com/uploade...20-%2030pct.jpg http://propaholics.wolfchasers.com/uploade...20-%2030pct.jpg Lower Back Plate- Completely new! This piece has now been pulled extra deep to easily allow for trimming, and to close side gaps on larger troopers and smaller troopers perfectly. The center box detail is greatly enhanced with sharpened lines. It features torso taper - very graceful with molded edges to allow armor to appear thicker. Butt Plate- Completely new! This all new plate has enhanced box details with sharpened lines and definition! Edges are molded to appear thicker. This piece is now separate from the lower back plate. Biceps- Completely new! The biceps are now wider and slightly longer with much more traditional and authentic styling. They are made wider with expanded, trimmable side details for both inner and outer pieces! The inner piece includes the rare “thumbprint” detail! Forearms- Completely new! The inner forearm piece has been sculpted to be deeper and trimmable for troopers with larger arms. Thigh Set- Completely new! The thighs now have more traditional styling with tremendously enhanced lower molded edge detail. They feature trimmable front and back panels to allow a wonderful fit for large troopers. These pieces are symmetrical, giving actual right and left pieces. A narrow ABS Strip will now sharpen and cover the front joining seam. Knee Drop Plate- Completely new! (Original TK style) The original TK style knee plate is sculpted to be sharper with more accurate detail, and to fit tightly over the top of the calf piece. The spikes and side spikes have been all been sharpened. (Sandtrooper Diamond Kneeplate is being made now and should be included in the kits!) Calf Pieces- Completely new! These new calf/shin pieces feature trimmable back panels to fit larger troopers, as well as tremendously enhanced upper edge details with a more authentic angular styling. These are actual right and left pieces, not the common pieces which utilize one side for both. These pieces are sculpted featuring the unique crown detail variation making the outer shell very, very slightly different from the inner shells. A narrow ABS Strip will now sharpen and cover the front joining seam. Thigh Belt- Completely new! This piece now has an extended rear section with a more rounded trim line and features a recessed rear detail which will help fit the thigh pieces in a unique and professional manner. ANH Handback Pieces- Completely new! These are the same size the as ones you are used to, but with an angular downward turn approximately one inch off-center. TESB Hand Pieces- Completely new! These feature rounded hand pieces with enhanced center ridge. ANH Sandtrooper Rectangular CHEESEGRATER Handback Pieces- Completely new! These obscure “Cheesegrater” style handbacks were worn by several troopers in ANH. (This piece is a work in progress – but should be included in the new kits) Abdomen Utility Belt- Completely new! This is the same size abdomen utility belt as before, but with a new design feature. It now offers slightly recessed center and side screw mount regions allowing screws to be covered with custom-made, molded white ABS plastic screw cap covers. Three covers are included in total, and are designed to emulate the traditional center square with circular detail found in the original belts’ center. Helmet- Completely new! - Arguably the most complicated component of the kit is still a WORK IN PROGRESS and should be coming soon. Some changes have been made to the contents of the FULL and LITE kits: FULL KITS – Will include ABS cement, ABS polish, Instructions, and an Original FX helmet with the newly re-shaped dome top for now. (A new helmet is being made, but is still in production – hopefully available soon). It has all elastic straps, but no standard-grade velcro. Troopers didn’t use it, so it’s being removed. Industrial velcro is now suggested but not included in the kit. The leather E-11 holster seen in the past is not included in this first run but will hopefully return in future runs. LITE KITS – As before will include ALL body armor pieces, Instructions and will now include all needed elastic straps. As before, the LITE kits will NOT include ABS cement, ABS polish, Helmet kit or Leather E-11 holster. Industrial velcro is suggested but not included. Pricing for the new kits has not yet been determined. While remaining reasonable, the price will most likely increase slightly due to the inclusion of the extra armor pieces in each kit, and the deeper trim areas requiring more ABS plastic. All inquiries should come to: tupperwaretk@yahoo.com Thanks!

Who made the new molds, the same dude there made the old ones. 2. Are they modify, or made from the ground and up. 3. It would be cool, to see progress pictures of the molds in making/studio etc... 4. Will there be a for sale site, like in the old days, or only sold over mail etc. Cheers. Tyranus
One more note - regarding the new thigh pieces . . . In addition to the other changes noted, the new thighs have also been made long - approximately 2 inches longer than the previous thighs. This was to allow all fans to trim the thighs to fit them perfectly. Tall troopers rejoice! Photos to come soon!
Tyranus
As promised, here are the first pics of two pieces of the new AM armor. These will also be added into the original post that announced the armor (added in as links). FIVE
Interesting... Very nice looking so far. Even though armor tends to fit me almost perfectly (legs, gap, etc.) it's good to hear people are gonna have that option! Let me know if you want me / when you want me to add it to my "armor 101" man.
TD1009
How do these pieces compare to the FX armor? Is the only change the deep sides? I can't remember what FX actually looks like anymore.

Trooper Peter
A couple more pieces! RIGHT INNER THIGH: Ward the pic of the Inner Thigh (Right) armor piece looks promising and > accurate than the existing FX piece. Looking forward to see the rest of the pictures of the Upper Thigh armor for both legs. I'm just wondering how much is the coverage in between the front and back of your AM abdomen plates that you've shown : before a gap can be seen. This is relation to a trooper's waist size - will it cover well for troopers who have 34" to 35" waist?
Tyranus
Troopers with a 34 - 35" waist will simply trim off on both sides what is not needed from the side panels (an equal amount).
