td7603
I've had this kit since 2002, but never had it finished. this evening makes the first time its all been warn at the same time. but most importantly, its been weathered. i think this time better than my original one. so...here's the original one... and heres the new one did some painting tonight. i did NOT take pics of it before i started cleaning it cause Kevin td-0013 would've come over to slap me personally. with that being said. Im trying to get this kit up and running instead of my original as i think it looks better. so please, be harsh, or whichever. tell me if its too dirty (which I expect a loud yes) for a Sandtrooper.... so...what do you think? edit: i just realized ive got to raise the left thigh piece a bit more. ive been playign with a new support system, still working the bugs out. Wolfie
looks much better! mostly just because of the proper ab part Just need you a new knee plate and you'll be lookin sharp.
td7603
workin on that. hows the "dirt"? ill prolly do a bit more cleaning. but i cant seem to get the chest plate white again. its too, scratched and beat up i guess... perhaps ill use turpintine tonight instead of spirit gum.... td7603
well finally got my old radio shack amp to work again. wasn't without a lot of voltage testing. the original power pack is shot, so ill have to wire something in series or use a custom 9.2v with a 3200 mhA rate. but just off of a 9v..its at least 7watts or louder, instead of the original 2.6watts. I've got several secrets. let see if you can spot them. either way, heres my new Franken-amp wires and all, and some other pics of my GT/FX upper armor side by side for comparison. now the new ones... any questions? i may or may not do a video test outside tomorrow just to see how far the range is. td7603
way ahead of you. I did that today as well. not that you can see it under the pauldron, but its there. will post pics once we get them back. the "ramp" for the sniper plate was cool actually. helps with knee lock. i suggest everyone add this if they can.
