...Suffering from the trooper blues here..

I also don't know where to start but I'll try to talk everybody through it.

I went to germany on wednesday so I could chill a bit before the party really started. I Slept at fellow TD and good friend Andy, TD-8041. Later Pino also arrived and we could start the weekend..I know It was only wednesday.

So we did some blue milk..

And the 1st group photo... Pino, yours truly, Andy

Thursday:

Woke up early because I was going to help out Pino and other GG members with the construction of the Cantina they build. This was also an oppurtunity for me for and early recon of the grounds.

What you got in the back? Oh..some bountyhunters...

Posted Image

Almost finished and after that some quick recon..

Posted Image

Ran into Jeremy Bulloch and his wife when they were checking out the Tie fighter.

Afterwards we went home for a quick shower, a fresh set of clothes and headed back to Essen for the pre meet that was a preview of things to come ;)

When I got there I spotted a Brittania patrol member and he spotted me too as well. We both were like, who is he. So I walked up to him and it was Marcus, Inglorious Trooper!!! We had a few drinks, laughs and later we were joined by Daniel, Darth Chridan.

When I got back from the bar I ran into the guys of RS ad we chatted a bit about the oncoming weekend and the plans.

Drinks with Pino, Marcus and Rob!!

Posted Image

With Rob from RS...

Posted Image

Then I spotted Anthony, we talked did some drinks and then we took this picture :)Posted Image

Around 22:00 I got tapped on the shoulder and there they were..the prodigal sons, Brad and Joe!!! They joined us for the fun and Brad mentioned, how did you end up sitting here having drinks with Anthony :P

Later that night we sang him a b-day song, it was his birthday after all..

When I got back I knew....This weekend was going to be epic on the largest scale possible!!

Friday:

After a short nights sleep we woke up full of adrenaline..this is what we have been waiting for. We rushed to the venue finding a large crowd already waiting tiil the doors opened. I got in early luckily so I went to the Cantina and found out that there has been a fight there..

Posted Image

Then a quick change into armor and there we went...CEII was officialy opened...the crowd started pouring in and overrun the grounds. Lots of pictures have been shot that day, here are some I did when I got out of armor..

Posted Image

....this man had some information for me..

Posted Image

Found myself a nice droid...

Posted Image

more droids :P

Posted Image

A Hot(h) display...

Posted Image

Leia's...

Posted Image

And a Twi'lek...

Posted Image

Oh, and I almost forgot...I ran into probably the best costume I have seen this weekend.

The great pit of Carcoon, Home of the Sarlacc..

Posted Image

Marcus couldn't take it any longer so he got a drink...as I did as well. Gotta stay hydrated..

Posted Image

Later that night we went to an open air festival in Essen, so we partied on there. :)

Saturday:

This day turned out to be the best day of them all..

We got on the ground around 10:00, got into armor and then Simon of RS came to pick us up for the presentation of Anthony. We talked about it and they decided that saturday would be the best day because the group photo is shot then too. So PIno, Andy and I went over to the UKG stand and did some pictures with the visitors.

But then..........we were asked to line up and there he was, Anthony back in armor. This moment was epic on the largest scale. The feeling that rushed through my body, standing there with my boys of the MEPD and Anthony as the man in charge oh man, you simply had to be there and I feel so honoured that I could be part of it.

With the RS guys

Posted Image

the 501st group pic..

Posted Image

And heading back and getting ready for the interview with Anthony and the lads from RS.

Posted Image

The Interview:

So we headed back and did the interview with both Anthony and RS. Anthony mentioned something concerning the neckseal that will probably cause a review of the S.W.A.T. status..

He told us that he wore a turtleneck and not a neckseal!

I presented him with a challenge coin, an earring...eh lapel pin, MEPD trading card and the S.W.A.T patch. I presented the guys from RS with a S.W.A.T patch as well and an MEPD tradingcard. Joe has taken a lot of pictures and I only have this one of Anthony sporting his new earring :P

Posted Image

Afterwards we all went back to our hotels/ holes in the ground/ cartboard boxes to freshen up for the dinner party.

At the dinner party I ran into Brian Muir and his wife Lindsay, finally found them so it was time for another kodak moment :P

They are such sweet people...Posted Image

Then things gotten wild. The dinner party started so everybody got in line for some good german food and cold beers..

Suddenly the biggest pimp of them all appeared, the Emperor himself. Accompanied with something to play with...

Posted Image

The guy licking the Emperor is Simon from RS ;)

Then the most special part of that evening for Marcus, Rob and me happened. We were having a smoke outside when Peter ayhew and his wife Angie came outside for a smoke. So I offered them a cigarette and they told us that they were heading back home. But is was uphill, so we offered to do the pushing and escort them back to the hotel. Man, I've never pushed so hard in my life :P

When we arrived at the hotel we did some pictures and his wife took some too and guess what...we were mentioned with picture and all on his personale twitter account...

Here's the link:

Being happy all the way...

Posted Image

Posted Image

The always present autograph hunters got air of it and came towards us as well, but Peter said, no, we're tired and going to bed. Now that's respect...

And as a bonus Jeremy Bulloch and his wife were right behind us...

Posted Image

I really hate my job :P

We returned screaming and shouting when they went inside, and everybody went like no way when we told them what just had happened.

The dinner party ended so we headed to the 2nd location only 100 mtrs down the road.

Had something to drink again surprisingly...

Posted Image

Things went crazy again when I spotted Anthony and invited him to join us.....again.

So it was jack and coke for him and beers for us...

Sandies can hold their liquor and beers....buuurp!

The party went on for a while when I left as told by Brad in his report.

Sunday:

We planned to do a 76 style picture with the wigs and moustaches but we were all worn out. I even brought a dewback with me for the occasion.

Posted Image

Didn't get into gear again on sunday and just walked around and did some shopping.

Later that day we grabbed something to eat with Joe, Brad, Marcus, Lindsay, Brian and Anthony.

Did something funny but Joe can tell you more about that.

Aren't you a little big for a Leia?

Posted Image

UKG at his best!

Posted Image

We ended up with some fellow sandies of the Lusitanian Outpost and the guys from RS.

We did a group photo and I practiced my smile.

Posted Image

I also got my bucket signed by Anthony...how awesome is that..
