  1. Finished...apart from making it look a little dirty... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. First few coats....there’s a few blemishes to sort and I’m still waiting for T tracks to arrive but I’m really pleased with how it’s looking Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. [emoji23] I would like to think so with the effort I’ve put into it! [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Almost ready to put it all together... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks Urs! Dude...yr obsessed with Baptys [emoji23] Done this today.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Bit more done today... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. No updates for a while but I assure u all I have been cracking on! Scratch made a working rear sight, fitted the hand grips, butt, various screws/panels and other details. The barrel and receiver are still two separate parts but I push fitted them together for the photos. The white filler (milliput) has been applied this afternoon so is still rough until it sets overnight and I can sand it down. It’s not 100% accurate but I’m trying to make everything from scratch..don’t judge me too harshly [emoji51] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. ****...that’s a shame...think it looks better with it in. The one I have for reference has it in and so does the the one a friend sent reference pictures of. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I had no idea! Was that all of them across the board or just the baptys? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. To be totally honest...I’m not a fan of the Baptys, not sure why, just not keen for some reason. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks Urs! I’m pretty pleased with it so far but now the real challenge begins! Making the receiver out of wood so I have to try trim out enough of it for the barrel to go through it...the only bit I’m worried about! I’ve made a start rough cutting the pieces and the handles Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Thank u Sir! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. So, following on from my relatively successful attempt at scratch building a T21, I thought I’d try my hand at a DLT-19 the same way. This won’t be a detailed WIP style thread, just a few progress pics as and when I have them. I decided to go down the aluminium tube route and have it long enough to go through the receiver so it would help balance the weight out. I like my blasters to have some weight to them so they don’t feel like toys. A friend lent me his resin DLT to use as reference so I’m pretty much copying this. As with my T21, apart from the barrel tube, everything else will be handmade using scraps I’ve found at home. Here’s where I’m at now... I hade to make the muzzle myself from plastic tube by heating and forming it. I just didn’t think a mouthwash cap would be accurate enough for me. I have cheated with the bipod though, I actually managed to source this from eBay (just the legs)....though I have had to make the mount myself and I have made it so it will fold down and stow away. Thanks for looking [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Here’s a few progress pics...still some sanding/shaping to be done yet, the bipod actually works too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Brilliant...thank u for that! It’s just the receiver I needed, I have the barrel pretty much done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
