DirtyBoy
Anyone ever have any problems with this product?
trooper1
No, not as of yet. I started using it about 6 months ago. Havent used it alot, but what I have, and seeing the videos, it has been pretty OK so far.
DirtyBoy
I've been using it for maybe a year now and never had a problem with the white....I switched to the onyx a few months back and seem to have more unstable pours. For the past 3 days I've been trying to do some work and it's not pouring correctly at all. Thinking it must be a bad batch
TK4702
They just came out with a version of onyx with a longer cure time.
DirtyBoy
Ya I've been using that and the quick time stuff. I just tried a mix of the white and onyx (A WHITE B ONYX) worked perfect do I'm thinking there is a bad batch of the A ONYX I received
pandatrooper
Onyx works fine. You need to mix the B part very thoroughly before mixing A and B together. If you don't stir the B it won't cure properly.
DirtyBoy
Tried that....I've literally probably done 200 pours with the stuff. It's only this batch that seems to be a problem.
TK4702
This may be a stupid question ... But I wonder if it would help extend the pot life, if you cooled the stuff in the fridge before mixing A with B?
DirtyBoy
Don't think so it has to temp regulated
