Ciscotiger
Oh yea, that will look great. I did it to mine with an old cd case to backlight it, more realistic.

pandatrooper
According to an owner of an actual Sonix radio, there isn't any backlighting.

Voodoo
I have purchased several small generic Hong Kong radios built in the same style as the Sonix at about the same time period. I also got my hands on the National Panasonic radio from Japan that seems to have been the radio the Sonix was "ripping off" for it's look. I can report that none of them had dials with backlighting and the all have lenses over the dial, (obviously). That is not why I had to comment. I have to ask Pandatrooper . . . who has an actual Sonix? Did I miss it? Last I heard, the only person who has ever claimed that they found one was never heard from again and only submitted one picture, which was the same picture we all have of the Sonix. Just curious. DirtyBoy
From what I know that person has never come forward after the initial post. I continue to search flea markets and rag sales hoping to score but 2 yrs with no luck so far
