There are so many kids who love the prequels but are never exposed to the originals because "they look old"....with the Blu Ray release I think it will capture a must larger audience. Lets face it, if we want to watch the originals as they were, we can...However if a someone wants to watch an updated version of the movies...they have not been able to until now. Ive gone over this so many times in my head and have come to the conclusion to look at it as a positive thing. Its putting the "whole" story in the minds of the future generations. If there were to be additional movies down the road this is the way it would have to be done...The old and new would have to come together to be able to sell what comes next....imagine a release of EP7 leaving off with the original visuals of ROTJ....It would just be stupid...but we would ALL go see it "You can never repaint the Mona Lisa but you can paint the walls around it" Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
