The only form of entertainment they would NOT take us to was a Soccer Game because "we cant garuantee your safety". During the WORLD CUP series, Its not unusual for Germany to deploy GSG-9, which is their Counter Terrorism Unit to maintain order. RECRUIT TD VITO Yep... thats why I dont usually wear My WVU Blue & Gold around Marhsall campus for class (which means no more blue and gold at all after Sunday 1st game/ rivalry game)...Support is great, but you cant wear the other gear on enemy turf without back-up... Chicago Bears still play at Soldier Field by the lake....practice camp was in Bourbonnais Illinois this year till it got so stinking hot and they had to move it indoors in the air conditioning. LOL, Hi Phil, No I'm not a COP, but I did serve 20Y as a NAVY Corpsman attached to UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS UNITS. In doing so, I did have the occasion to assist in processing prisoners and surrendered Military Forces, as well as working with Provost Marshall on base, so I'm kinda familiar with Police procedures on a rudimentary level. I have Police officers in the family, and have many friends who are Public safety officers from the Tri State area (CT NY NJ) and all the way down the Mid Atlantic region.
