So it looks like I might be moving forward with this project ... Once I have the prototype in my hands I'll make a mold of it, and begin making some copies! I have a 3D print quote for $700... it's a the best quality I can get, while keeping it under a grand. I would like to keep the casting under $100... Hopefully I can sell more than 7 castings.
