Quartermaster Posted December 1, 2010 Share Posted December 1, 2010 The Empire City Garrison is scheduled to help out the Salvation Army Bell Ringers every Saturday until Dec. 18th at a Wal-Mart location in Newburgh, NY. The 1st Saturday of Trooping was this past weekend 11/27 and what better way to help out for the Holidays than to have an MEPD Deployed Sandtrooper threatening people to empty their pockets for charity. Well, maybe threatening is a bit strong. More like strongly suggesting....OR ELSE! Anyway, we really made big difference and the donations were definetely up. This was also the 1st official troop for my brother-in-law Lenny, TK4169, aka Rancorbeast. He was recently approved by our GML as a standard TK so he was excited to get that 1st troop under his belt.
