woodman
The shoulder bells that come with the AM kit are really big an I'm only 5'8" so I needed to cut them down anyway so I dedcided to go a bit further and reshape them and bondo in the very pronounced ridge to better match an ANH derived set. I still need to do the spot putty and I am going to do a more defined crook at the bottom of the ridge.
pandatrooper
Nice work! Very ingenious to blend in the edges. On my AM TK, I modified the shoulders as well. The AM shoulders are much bigger and longer, and the shape is very "straight" compared to the ROTJ tour suit derived ones. Here's a link to my build and a good photo showing the size difference between the AM and original shoulders. http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=10434&st=20&p=138345entry138345
woodman
Thanks Terry I got the original idea to modify them from your thread. The soft ridge was my main focus

Dark-GTI04
Looks great. I experienced the same thing with the old FX shoulders fitting me. I'm 5'7 and the shoulders went down to my elbows. I took two inches off them but have now replaced them with shoulders from another kit.
