td7603
I've been trying to identify this kit I've had since early 2001 or so. You can find pics in my weathering thread. but heres some pics of the helmet. I bought it in Hong Kong back in 2001. Put the helmet together the next fall and than put the kit together in about late 2007 or 2008. I have one part still on the sheet with the sellers handwriting on it if that would help. I'm pretty sure this is a Gino V1. any help?

Vaj
ok, thanks... any clue on who's it is? since its from the same era as your v.1? GF? Give us a sideview of the helmet! The GF helmet has a very characteristic cap n back but even the face looks like a GF. It also has this wrong mic tips GF used! td7603
well i don't know where the tips are that it came with. the ones on there are fx tips.
Vaj
well i don't know where the tips are that it came with. the ones on there are fx tips. there is a connection between FX and GF stuff. Some FX helmets were even signed by GF! It explains why the mic tips are the same. I am pretty sure you have a GF armor and helmet as the cap n back tells what I expected! td7603
i lost the original mic tips. those are the tips off my FX. i never painted and installed the hovi tips i got a few years ago in san diego. but yes. that is a top/back as one piece ears and face as another... i thought the rubber used for the brow trim would be a dead giveaway. i thought GF actually stamped his helmets on the underside of the dome
td7603
Mr. Fallano himself confirmed that this is his. now the question remains... whats good or bad abotu this armor compared to other sets? I remember someone saying they were working on a suit comparison site, like the SW Helmets one... any leads? GF said AP improved on his design... how? Pappy
what good about it is that,it was made from abs. who's they you refer to,GF? or AP? the mold that GF got back then was quite smashed(as far as i know),then GF restoring it,and again by AP,and thats it.
