godzilla
my last thing to do was finish my T21. Got a couple things to touch up but she's pretty much done. Enjoy, Tim http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x144/trixie05_2007/L3.jpg http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x144/trixie05_2007/L2.jpg http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x144/trixie05_2007/L1.jpg http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x144/trixie05_2007/L4.jpg http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x144/trixie05_2007/L5.jpg

pandatrooper
Nice! Is that a Hyperfirm? I love the detail on the barrel shroud, you can see the grooves.
godzilla
Yes, it's a hyperfirm. The detail is really crisp. You can even see the stamped lettering of the manufaturer. quote name='pandatrooper' date='27 March 2010 - 11:33 PM' timestamp='1269754407' post='78199'] Nice! Is that a Hyperfirm? pandatrooper
Pretty, very nice vork , Is it a resinous cast? The Hyperfirms are cast from real de-commisioned weapons, they use a resin plastic that has rubber content in it so they're great for trooping. Light weight too. They do very good work, very detailed!
ARAKYEL
Thanks for the information bro, actually one of the best replica I've ever seen.
dutchy
I have held a HF T-21 in my hands and I must say that it is an A+ cast and weapon
theGreatSot
Awesome work on your T-21! What did you use for the wire that is in between the drain pipe and the sling?
berkal
Great work. I recently bought a hyperfirm so would love to know what you did/used to make the modifications, please.
Scarbucket
Looks awesome!reminds me when my Lewis came-it was like Christmas morning! To second Sot's question,What wire did you use? The Hyperfirm is great for trooping because it feels like it is unbreakable. Adios,Dave
godzilla
I used some copper wire I got at Home depot. It's ground wire they sell by the foot in the electrical section. I think its about 1/8" thick. Tim Awesome work on your T-21! What did you use for the wire that is in between the drain pipe and the sling? godzilla
I used the home depot drain pipe for the ribbing and I used some sheet styrene for the part that wraps around the barrel in front of the drain pipe. The wire is copper ground wire from the depot. Tim would love to know what you did/used to make the modifications, please.

But i need to add the groove tube, and metal wire barrel holder like on yours. Could you please explain what you did to make it in step 1, 2, 3 etc... And take some close ups, i would like to add the same detail on mine. (did your screw the screws directly into the gun/add glue in the hold before, so it don´t drop out, and damage the gun etc..) Heres mine so far:
godzilla
Sure, I'll take some more detailed pics. Tim
godzilla
Ok, Heres some more detailed pix of my T21 including descriptions of my build. Tim Heres looking at the bottom of the gun showing the drain pipe. The drain pipe does not make it around the diameter of the gun, so you'll have a gap. http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x144/trixie05_2007/Ribbing2.jpg I use a piece of sheet styrene for the thing in front of the ribbing. I think it's 2" wide and long enough to wrap around the barrel. You can see in this photo that I slid about 1/4" of it under the drain pipe. I then took 1/4" wide strip styrene to do the lips on the end and up against the drain pipe. http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x144/trixie05_2007/ribbing6.jpg The wire is copper ground wire from Home depot. I drilled for the screws and coated them with E6000. http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x144/trixie05_2007/Ribbing7.jpg To hold the wire down where it pushes up against the sling I slipped one of the pieces from my snaps over a screw. http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x144/trixie05_2007/Ribbing3.jpg http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x144/trixie05_2007/Ribbing4.jpg http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x144/trixie05_2007/Ribbing1.jpg
theGreatSot
That is just awesome! Thanks for those details and descriptions! I need to get on it and add the wire to mine. I imagine that it also helps keep your sling in place too!

godzilla
And heres a picture of what I used for my sling mount. It's one of my ends from my backpack straps. I put a bolt through it with some washers, held in place with E6000.
