Rolf
Thats one beautiful bucket. Remind me again, what's the correct humbrol color for gray and black? I normanlly use Testors 1138 and Testors Satin Back for my buckets. Saludos Thanks bro. I use Humbrol grey gloss 5, and black gloss 21. Rolf
Small update. I will take some close ups, when i have done the tube stripes asap
Rolf
There they are, almost done.. But bro'...maybe you can make some pictures of how to paint the decals on and especially what technique you use for the tube stripes..I know I am interested.. I just made this measurement/pattern paper tube stripe. I once just paint directly through it, on a helmet. It went ok, but not tip top, because some extra paint was beside the tube stripes... So now i just use it like this. 1. I just hold it up to the tube, and pencil draw through the pattern: 2. Then i just add paint tape top, and bottom of the draw tube bow lines: 3. Then i just start paint the stripes, and you there: I´m in progress painting the HDPE cracks on the helmet now. I will post new pics tomorrow. (it seems like i´m mad slow, but the humbrol paint needs to dry freaking long time each time i make a move whit it. But i´m done tomorrow, and ready to dirt the helmet there too) Peace out

Im going to start making a replica Move Along with cracks and paint drops and all, and this helps a lot. Saludos. Your welcome bro. I have copy most of the screen used Dave M helmet on mine, also most of the HDPE cracks to be showed. Minus a few, because it was too much for trooping i think. Plus i guess it was not as beat up in ANH, as it is now a days too. New pics up, hopefully later today

Rolf
Man that's nice! Do you do the chips after? And have painted the tope color first? Thanks bro. If i understand it right... I just paint the hole helmet white, and all the details/grey areas/out line/chin etc. The i just hand paint the HDPE cracks on it. (i did not made any cracks on the ear caps, because as far as i know, they was made out of ABS. And only the face/back and cap was in HDPE, on the ANH stunt helmet versions. Only the ANH hero helmets, was in full ABS) Cheers

Pappy
Whoa!! I love it sir!!!! I used almost the same technique for the tube stripes, but it went bad the most annoying part is the area between the stripe pattern,it always come off or not adheres nicely when I start brushing, there's always leaks on those areas. How do you brush it to make that result? Horizontally or vertically? Can't wait for the dirt to rush in!! did you used only one color for the armor Rolf? Is the weathering on the armor will be the same way for the bucket? That's a fine fine base for dirtying yamm yamm
Rolf
Thanks bro, i´m happy you like him I brush paint the tube stripes vertical a like. Yeah i only used one color again on the helmet, and the same color as the body armor. I used the same color on all the other parts too/back pack, pauldrons, latex hand plates. I hope i can take some out door pics next week, all suit up wearing it. For now, heres a few indoors pics on my doll :
