trooperexpert
This is a copy 1:1 of my 2nd ANH helmet. Reason it looks so funky is that it is done as a rapid prototype and it is hard to photograph. All the formed helmets to date look great, but NOTHING can beat an IDENTICAL looking helmet, and this cannot be done with molding a real helmet, and then forming and trying to make it the same.. as the saying goes: it's only original once... well, I think I may have found a way to get as close as anyone can... WarEagle
Proto looks great, what's the final going to made of?
trooperexpert
Dont know.. Not even sure if I will take it any farther than this... If I decide to, Fiberglass is the most likely candidate for getting it spot on using silicone molds... TE

WarEagle
If you ever decide to make a TIE or AT-AT bucket, I would definetely be interested in both.

trooperexpert
Coolio! Glad you all like it so far! I decided to mold it, so hopefully I will have a copy to show off end of month TE
Daetrin
We're everywhere! Very Happy Not bad considering western WA isn't known for its sand or deserts. Good job on the proto btw! Mebbe we should use light green and loam to dirty our armor - e.g. sandy's who were sent to Endor to put down the Ewoks 'cause the scouts couldn't handle it. See what happened after we left? We wouldn't have gotten beat!
