6170
I happen to own a very decent E-11 that I like allot BUT my question is are they even used at all by TD's on screen? I mean we can't have a holster and 99.99% of the time I use my BFG. So whats the point of even owning one if you are not a TK or TI?
MacFett
E-11s are used on screen by TD during the speeder stop and the docking bay 94 shootout. I don't have an E-11 for my TD. But that's ok because I like carrying the BFG (Lewis). And it is very popular.
Daetrin
It's not required at all. I like having one at times as it's nice to put the BFG down for awhile, or to play Move Along Trooper.
6170
Okay cool, good to know that. I too have a Lewis that everyone loves, I mean how could you not is a a fr@cken canon!! I am going to build an AT-AT driver and a TIE pilot by the end of the year and will pretty much just use it for those costumes.
Kimelius
I think the patrol that checks the locked door (which C-3PO & R2 hide behind) ar all sporting E-11's. While a holster isn't canon as such, its certainly convenient when shaking hands or rattling collection cans. I like to suit up according to the profile of the event - for example, big crowds & lots of lil ones = no bfg or back pack (dont want to clock one due to increased turning circle)
boyhonda
i have a mg34 but opt for the e11 as it is easyer to carry and can get more closer to the public without the fear of hitting one of them
Pappy
By far,its the 'most possible' blaster that can be replicated from the real gun, like in the movies
Productions
..........e11 as it is easyer to carry ...... Copy that. It's much easyer to cary a E-11 than a BFG on a long troop. And if you are at a non cannon event, you can have a holster for extra comfort. Luke
dutchy
I think the patrol that checks the locked door (which C-3PO & R2 hide behind) ar all sporting E-11's. Also as is the captain in the "look sir droids" scene. So many examples of TD's wielding a E-11. But as mentioned before...don't we all love BFG's I like to suit up according to the profile of the event - for example, big crowds & lots of lil ones = no bfg or back pack (dont want to clock one due to increased turning circle)Hahahaha
Scootch
I've always loved the E-11. It is just so identifiable as a trooper weapon. Yes while trooping it's a lot easier to deal with. One guy I troop with wears a holster with his TD and lets kids hold the E-11 for photos. That is cool for the kiddies.
Imabarroomhero
I carry my holster and E-11 for non-canon events, that way I look armed to the teeth! Also, same as above, better to let the kids play with that one.
