What Time is It?

So I've been spending the last day reading all about Davin Felth the Zeta Squadron and the 37th Detachment of the Desert Sands stormtrooper unit stationed on Tatooine and it brings up a question in my mind... when are you?

As a TD and while "in character" when do you exist?

As a TK I've always existed during the golden age of the Empire. Between Ep III and Ep IV. From reading all those articles I'm thinking this will pretty much be when I exist as a TD as well. (when I get my TD done)

This means I...

1) Don't know about the destruction of the Death Star.

2) Think the Death Star is a farming / mining machine to be used for peace.

3) Know of rebels, but maybe not of Luke Skywalker.

It also means that if I'm claiming to be stationed on Tatooine I would most likely be part of the 37th Detachment of the Desert Sands troops. However, I don't know if I'll pretend Albuquerque is Tatooine, or just another planet "in the system".

I would say that I am in the year 0. I was escorting Vader while he was trying to retrieve the death star plans from princes Leia, and then deployed to tatooine... I was just a child when Palaptine became emperor and therefore all I know is the Empire and serving Vader in person was all I wanted when joining the empire. (Dont know much about EU anyway)

That is pretty much where Im stuck. In most troops I just keep pretending to be looking for two droids. Search people and make a big deal of any R2 or 3PO image or toy I find.
