StarWars Collector
Not sure if this is the right section to post this....it isn't about getting dirty; it's about getting old, if you catch my meaning... There are still a few things I want to improve, but for now it will have to do. Enjoy! (Click to enlarge)

StarWars Collector
Thanks for the compliments, guys. It's still far from perfect, but a good start IMO. I'll keep you updated on my progress That is a complete work of art , it's not a replica , it's prop forgery. Thanks (...I guess.... ) Well, it's only forgery if you try to pass it off as the original.

StarWars Collector
Thanks guys! How did ya do this ?! Well, first I studied lots of refpics of the "Stop that Ship" helmet. (many thanks to Jez!) I used a pencil to draw the outlines of all the HDPE spots on the helmet. Then I carefully started to peel away the paint (which isn't very hard, since paint will not adhere to HDPE) The rest of the weathering effects were done using watered down acrylic paints.
