Rolf
Congrats bro! This is the biggest thing ever in your life!! Kids needs a lot of love and caring, but remember your partnership with your wife and remember to take time out for yourself (MEPD, Trooping whatever).. Cool to have another Jawa in our garrison Thanks bro . I sure will. I will say Sara/kid first, then family/Lola the cat/friends/the star wars costume hobby/other hobby´s. Work will never be my hobby, but gotta get the greens. I will do my best not to let it destroy, the things i love above . The ANH storm/sand troopers, are my costume hobby. I have been through, 1 FX, 2 GF, 2 AP, 2 TM, 1 TE2 + helmets. Plus all the gear, connect to them. It have been a search through 8 year, when i join the 501st. I think we/i have reach a level, where it all most can´t be better/more accurate. So i think i can relax a bit more now, and enjoy the stuff i have found/got. There will all ways be items to upgrade, and i find something better. I will all ways take it, and sell the old stuff and get the new stuff in. most of the old suits, is also sold. I have some new TK, and TD suits on the way from Dan Laws. So there will be plenty to assemble there, over the time. (One thing is for sure, the TD will all ways be assemble first). Plus a pack, and weapon + pauldron run. I guess its in our blood now through life, we can´t let go. And we may never do, because it keep our inner child alive. And its a great get away hobby, from a e.g grey working life/day. So i will never let it go. There are many mepd bro´s, i can´t see face to face for a good time. Because we don´t life close, to each other. But we might meet somewhere around the globe through life, as 60´s or something still trooping . Only one thing is important for me, don´t let the hobby control you. Here is a few shots of me, getting ready for the kid in our garden . Rolf
I have cut every thing out here today, for the run. And made a list of what i need to buy, to complete all 14 pauldron kits. I will have the 70´s chest projector from UK, around wednesday. Double check all measurement, and go to the tailor. Last time i check whit him, he say he could do them in around two weeks. So if we are lucky, we will have them ready in about 3 weeks time (6 BLACK, 5 WHITE, 3 ORANGE). Only one brake in the plan, the orange from US is not here yet. I hope it will be here in the progress, if not i will have to find some orange here. I keep every one updated . Rolf.

Rolf
Small update troops . I was out today, and buy the last needed parts to complete the run. 7 people have payed in, so i still need 4 more to do so. (the last 3, is for my self). Right now i´m in a minus at about 300$, when i have payed the tailor too for the 7. Any way, the Thorsten Hallman 70´s chest projector should be here in a few days. I still, don´t have the Vinyl orange from the US. But i found out, in my leather shop here today. That they sell dyed orange, to dye leather. The colour look right, and that way all 3 colours (black, white, orange) will be the same kind of plastic leather/brand. And its the same, they used to dye normal leather. I try to scratch it, and i could not get it off. So i might buy some of that, and dyed my some of my white plastic leather whit it for the captain pauldron. They also got this vinyl here. But maybe its a bit too dark orange, close to brown orange like. The dyed stuff, they got there is a bit more clean bright orange. I can´t wait to see the magic, from the tailors hand. He say, he could do it even better then the once we did. So they must be pretty sweet looking. Here is a small flash back. Enjoy. Now the patrol quest, have started to find these accurate pauldrons . Cheers . Rolf.

Rolf
Rolf, you are an artist thanks for your back up buddy . Big up date today. I got the Thorsten Hallman 70´s chest projector today, from troopermaster. Here is a few shots. Here its on top, of mine. You can see, mine is a little bit wider. But not much. I think the LFL art department, used the Hallman as ref. But not 100% either. Size and shape, most likely. The sewing is 6 areas to the left, 5 on right. In ANH they are both, 5 L/R. And the one in the mid is a bit too wide. I will add that too on mine. I will go to the tailor, when i have made a new sketch in about two days from now. (the orange is still not there, but i have found a orange leather dye. So strong, that it should dye black leather too. I might use that on my white leather, and all 3 ranks will be in the same brand of plastic leather too that way). Here you go. Best regards from here . Rolf. dutchy
The difference is peanuts for me..I'll keep my TD-252 pauldron from the 1st run because it is so close to the real deal and the difference is minimal. So again, GREAT AND GOOD JOB YOU PULLED OFF BRO'!! You got my respect

One think is for sure, the chance the sewing line areas in the blue area.
