Rolf
Flawless Victory ! Keep up the good work bro !! Grtz RAY Thanks Ray. Today i weathering the suit, it went well. But took a LLlllloonngg time, but i´m happy for the way it turn out. Heres a picture from today. I will try to take it on tomorrow, and shoot some out door pictures of the beast . I used the woodland weathering set. I all way´s start whit the lightest colours, to the darkest. Heres a shot in the progress, i later add darker brown, mud, grey, dark grey/black. I put in on whit a foam brush, to there is no more white left. The darkest colours, in all the corners. The parts dry quick, i then take the first made piece and start on it. I have some cut up t-shirts, and a bowl of water. When i add the wet cloth, all the wood look like stripes fade away and turn smooth. Some of the areas, there comes small openings into the white. I then take a dry cloth, and gently go over it. Then small details comes up, looks like land scape´s or something... Cheers

TK7036
WOW WOW WOWWWW!!!!! Can you hear me yelling and everyone turned to look at me? Could it be the photography now the painted helmet and the unpainted armor looks no difference to me? Is it the same in real too? Maybe is the way you applied so well the weathering it camouflaged the original "bluish" tint in the raw plastic of the body armor. This one awesome piece of work for the museum. Thanks for sharing! PS: If you have hi-res pics let me know where i can download them.
Daetrin
Big thumbs up! Love the weathering.
Rolf
Thanks bro . Yeah the non painted body armor works more then great. Its glossy milky white, now whit the weathering and hair spray on. If i weathering the bucket also, it will match perfectly too. I have a new one on the way, so it will be 100% the same a s the body armor. New pictures up then. I will try to post some bigger pictures asap. Hope it works here on the forum, if not i can mail them to you. Cheers bro

And in the next pictures, hey dude... wheres my car (the movie ). I can´t wait to add the new coming TE2 bucket, there will match the body armor 100% non painted. And weathering it the same way as the body armor. I hope to add it whit the SB/CP pauldrons soon, and new MHSB pack kit too. Then he will rock (the shoulder wien stolla, and left/right french and spanish pouch are all ww2 used. I´m looking for a ww2 mp 40 for him too. Because when you later add the lighter colours, which are the major colour all over the armor. You make the darker colours wet again, and then they will get all over the lighter colours and turn them darker too. And that way, you will not get the clean colours you have choose to use on your suit. Because they all turn dark brown/grey like. I order 2 sets of the woodland set, and mix my own colours. The set only got a few colours, in it. Here you go: From this: To this:
