ANH vs. ROTJ helmet.

I have never been thinking that the GF, and AP looks ANH.

The GF, and AP comes from a modify ROTJ suit.

And so do the helmet, if you ask me.

I don´t think, TE also give GF he´s ANH helmet to make the GF ANH suit.

I only think that TE give GF he´s ROTJ suit, to modify it to a ANH kit...

If you ask me the ROTJ, and AP are very a like.

The ANH TE is much different shape/longer from the side looking, and wider front.

The ROTJ, and AP are more round like and smaller.

Look e.g at the side tube, whit the blue strips on.

Its the same on AP, as the ROTJ helmet smaller and fat looking.

The ANH TE/TE2, is more slim and longer.

I think i´m right, but not 100% sure about this.

But i think that the GF/AP comes from a ROTJ helmet, just like the suit did.

I cannot remember if GF recast a full set of TE ROTJ or if it was just the body armour. I 'think' he did recast TE's ROTJ helmet and reworked it, the dome was way off. AP's helmet is different and I would say he recast an ANH dome/back, maybe even a new face mask. I have never really done a comparison to be honest, but noticed the new dome/cap immediately.

I do know one thing, the AP is very small. My guess is that the helmet has been recast a few times to make the master moulds. Each time a helmet is recast, the moulds get smaller. Ever noticed how all the AP parts look small compared to a real ANH suit?

I think the GF start as a full rotj kit from te, modify to anh.

Yes the AP is much smaller then the TE/TE2.

The face mask, looks a bit like the te from the front.

But it still look different/smaller rotj fat from the side.

The back cap, and ears do not look te to me on the GF/AP.

I have got: gf, ap, te2 in my time.

But i have sold the gf and ap, so i can only show pictures of me in it.

I can therefor not compare them, side by side right now.

I can try to get to them in my garrison, they have gf and ap for compare shots asap...

The ear caps look a bit off too. When you look at the ROTJ helmet compared to the AP and the TE2, but the curve of the tubes looks different too, AP/GF vs. TE2

The front looks the same, as you said Rolf, but the sides look different.

The AP looks flatter from the side vs. the TE2 as well..

This might have something to do with my delimma. I have a TE2 and an old TE. They look quite different from each other but I cant quite put my finger on the difference. My TE does seem to favor a ROTJ look whereas my TE2 is dead on for ANH.
