Rolf
Hi there squad. I have in mind, to paint my suit. As far as i know, the sand trooper stunt helmet was HDPE plastic spray painted white. The body armor was ABS. So for accurate look, for a e.g TE2 suit. Will be, to spray paint the helmet milky white. And spray paint the body armor, more pure white ABS look like...right. Cheers. Rolf . troopermaster
I'd say vice-versa.
Rolf
I'd say vice-versa. Copy that, maybe just plant milky white from top to toe then .
troopermaster
Rolf, The helmets look whiter than the armour to me. I guess the armour is an off-white colour and they used brilliant white to paint the beige helmets. No matter what they used, it would be hard to get a perect match and I doubt they really cared, as long as it looked 'white'

Scootch
Well on that note has anyone come up with a Regulation size stencil or even just Regulation dimensions for the vent tube stripes? I may like to try painting these and then there's the color variations too yeah? Plus Sandy's tube stripes have black outlines????? Sorry Rolf I just threw a monkey wrench in your thread........ No problem. I think its finish any way . The blue colour, is not 100% found. But most people think, it was the french blue/Humbrol 14. There was no black out line, on the ANH helmets blue side tube stripes. I don´t have the wide on them, but there was different numbers of stripes on the helmets. Some 16, some 13 etc...
