jpbasso
Hi, I'm finally getting ready to order my armor & I want to know where I can get the diamond knee plate. I know that I want to go Sandtrooper & have already inquired about the ab piece. Thanks, Jim

TD257
Here's another with a minor modification... http://www.legionxxiv.org/trooper124/sniperplate.htm
abntroop
yeah, it's not too hard. a couple pieces of styrene or abs (styrene since you'll weather it anyway) a blade and some CA glue, and you're done in all of 10 minutes give or take. TD257
I'll probably make another one soon...I didn't use the shim to aim the plate out, and it pinches sometimes, but not too badly.
abntroop
hmm, I didnt use a shim, and all I have to worry about is the top of my knee catching on the bottom of my thigh peice although it rarely happens.

TD257
Looks very good! It turns out I didn't need to shim it after-all. I just returned from a three hour "deployment" with a lot of walking and no troubles with pinching or anything.
