Poster (tempera) paints are water soluble and come off with little effort. They're easily found at just about any arts and crafts store, and they're generally pretty inexpensive.
Looks good, but maybe ease up on some of the darkest black areas. I don't know what sort of "coloring agent" you used, but if it's water soluble, try diluting the paint with some water and lightening it up a bit...just my two cents.
You'll be gettin' more that just your feet dirty, troop! What do you think this is...some sort of cushy Imperial Navy deployment? This is the hardest working, filthiest, nut-bustin' detachment around.
Welcome...
My first neckseal was a turtleneck shirt/sweater thing. The shirt had gotten too small for me...or I had gotten too large for it...yeah, thats it. I cut the neck part and some of the shirt out and voila...instant poor-man's neck seal.
My suggestion would be to take an active role in repairing or modding the suit. You'll gain valuable experience in the wide world of costuming. Theres nothing like putting a suit together from scratch, but any work done along those lines will help when you want to branch out and do another costume.
Good luck troop...
