Boots

I've been looking around the threads, but I haven't seen much talk about footwear. Anyone have any suggestions for good comfortable trooping boots that have the appropriate heel. I see them on eBay periodically but have been a little afraid to buy boots without actually trying them on. You never know if the sizes will be right or if they will "work" with the armor. Any brands to stay away from?

The original boots WERE black. They were spray-painted white . . . which is fine for filming for a few weeks/months, but for trooping year in and year out CABOOTS is the way to go.

Ross had his Sandtrooper boots modded to have a better sole:

As an alternative to CA & from the searching I have done these appear close to accurate to the film.

Made of leather, High ancle & that all important Hard sole, they just need moding white.

If there's a retailer by you that sell's them good luck. www.loake.co.uk
