bazden Posted February 18, 2007 Share Posted February 18, 2007 Been playing with a couple of bits to make some plain shoulder straps and a belt, I got some British 37 pattern webbing and started to bleach it out, any chance a few of you could post some pics of your plain shoulder straps for reference on width and fixings etc. I'm going to use dyed mp40 webbing pouches so thought the straps and belt in the same material might bring it together. SethB6025 Posted February 20, 2007 Share Posted February 20, 2007 I used black nylon straps under the chest and back, they pretty much disappear once the armor is on. Mike has some nice pictures on his site www.tk1536.com where he used natural canvas in the same configuration, which is supposedly what was really used in the films.
