how to attach shoulder mp40 pouch?

Recommended Posts

Hello Eddie,
Normally the pouch is attached to the strap of the backpack. No packpack - no pouch.
If I ever want to attach one - let's be honest, it just looks cool, I'll do it like this:
I attached a piece of Velcro to the back panel and put a strap over the shoulder. I attached the pouch to this webbing. Can be easily attached and removed at any time.
Regards Thomas

I'm currently looking at purchasing a finished TD. It looks like the only thing missing for approval currently is the ammo pouches. This TD is without back pack. I saw this thread as I was also wondering how to attach a shoulder ammo pouch. The no backpack - no pouch is a bit confusing as the CRL states:

The standard configuration calls for a minimum of two pouches:

one pouch on the left shoulder and one on the right hip.

A third worn on the opposite hip is allowed.

By reading that it would mean you must have a shoulder ammo pouch regardless of backpack since that's an optional accessory.

Yes, the CRL is confusing. I think you're right. But if the GMO thinks for itself, it will find out
