Ryn_Skywalk
Hey guys, Instead of PMing one of you I'd figure i would make this a public post in case anyone else had the same question. I really want to put my diamond knee plate on before the upcoming Zoo Boo event this saturday, but don't have any left over plastic for my armor to use as backing. Is there anything else i could use to back it up, OR can i just glue it with Devcon to left calf/leg armor as is?...and about how high should the knee plate be on the leg? I know there use to be a tutorial somewhere on these boards, but i havn't been able to find it. Thanks guys, Ryan
TD-1536
I assembled an entire AP kit for a guy in CA last month, and I made hi ma diamond knee plate from scrap I got from Charlie. Because it was flat, and build up with about three layers of .80 sheet, it was super-easy to just Devcon on to the shin leg piece. Is yours flat, vac-formed? I'd have to see it. If you got the time, swing by my place tonight and I can work up some magic. I have a TON of plastic scrap.
Ryn_Skywalk
Mike, I believe the knee plate is flat. I work tonight, but get off around 7:50(unless it rains, then work is cancelled). I can make it up to your apartment in about 20 minutes from my work,so let me know if that's cool. Thanks!
