DirtyBoy
For years we've all been using the frost king cold weather faucet covers thanks to the original members of the MEPD getting us something so close.....About 2 years ago the manufacturer changed their design and they became harder and harder to find. Over the last 6 months or so there has been lots of research on this part and ultimately it has been determined the part was the GSTYLE canteens. Time to move forward with the new. There are a few makers and versions out there or you could hunt for the original.
nick.black
Amen to that. Definitely the way forward.

iconoclasta_88
Awesome Costantin... Like the radio on the back a lot. You only need the vintage pack frame around the poster and you are done! Saludos
THE TROOPER
I still like the old faucet covers waaaaahhhhhhh !!!!!
DirtyBoy
The old are still fine Al....they have fit the part for so long and I'm sure will be seen on packs in the future. But like the old "burger stacker" cistern builds, they will eventually disappear.
dutchy
Looks great Chief!! Love to have one if you're gonna do a run of these...but maybe i'll start looking for the real deal first
clonecollector
Do you think the faucet cover can easily be swapped out for a canteen? My pack is already assembled and don't want to mess with it too much.

At this point i would probably just keep your set up and if down the road you've got some other adjustments you want to do, tackle them at the same time. Saludos Hehe, I thought you might notice ;-) Just got that for a bargain in the bay. Not the real thing of course but for the time being I enjoy a look-a-like on my workbench. I already got the Karrimor frame if that was what you were referring to. Planning to do a WIP similar to Ghosts sometime soon (yawn, yet another boring screen accurate build ;-) )

I have a pack that Quartermaster built for me and wondered if it could be an easy swap.
