nick.black Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Hi guys, I've been meaning to add some details to compliment my t-21 build on here so here is a look at my kit, as I progress. Not yet finished on the helmet but I've put it together to resemble the low brow, black pauldron trooper as seen in these scenes. So here's my helmet Please bear in mind that it's still not finished yet. More to come soon Nick Quote
Beren Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Great to see you back in action Nick... I will be following along!! Quote

P3laton3 Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 I am already addicted to this thread...and now give me another fix please!!! Quote
nick.black Posted June 10, 2015 Author Posted June 10, 2015 Ok so I made some black leather boots into stormtrooper boots. 1st coat after stripping with nail varnish remover 2nd coat. And finished after 5 coats and some fabric paint on the elastic. Probably one more coat on the elastic. Quote
Fumanchewie Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Looking forward to following your progress. What armor kit do you have? Quote
nick.black Posted June 12, 2015 Author Posted June 12, 2015 It says in the title mate TM LOL Nick Quote
Ghost Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Great work on the boots Nick, can't wait to see this build develop! Quote
Strider Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Hi Nick, good luck with the assembly of the ears. I've spent like 7 hours on them last Weekend and am still not 100% satisfied. Word to the wise: Very slowly dremel them in form, it's easier to cut off more than to glue something back on Quote
nick.black Posted June 16, 2015 Author Posted June 16, 2015 Yep, a lesson I've learnt the hard way on both my helmets now. Effing ears. Quote
nick.black Posted June 21, 2015 Author Posted June 21, 2015 So I've now got the ears on. Left the trademark gap on purpose lol Quote
Strider Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Nice job, bro! For the next part always keep a cloth with paint thinner/terpentine at hand. I sure needed it a lot ;-) Quote
ENFORCER Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Looks great Nick, I think I will be sending my next bucket to you. Amazing job on the boots as well !!!! Quote
nick.black Posted June 22, 2015 Author Posted June 22, 2015 Thanks Rob, but I won't ever volunteer to make a helmet. I hate it, I'm always scared to death of effing it up. Anyway here's my painted helmet now ready for battle damage. I will have a closer look at the brow and mics as I go through this process. Nick Quote
