MOS EISLEY POLICE DEPARTMENT EXPLORERS

Galactic Law Enforcement Exploring is a program for young people contemplating the path of law enforcement within the 501st legion. Its mission is to offer youths a look into what it takes to be a Sandtrooper/Police Officer of The Mos Eisley Police Department. Explorers will receive hands on training, practical experiences, and other activities relating to their character build. Additionally, the program promotes personal growth through character development, respect for the rules of the legion, attention to detail, good citizenship and patriotism. In other words, we will help you build an awesome costume and get you ready for joining the legion when the time is right.

The EXPLORERS programs is based on the following areas of emphasis:Prop Building Skills, Community Interaction, Education, and Charity Experience.

  • Gain exposure to various types of armor and building techniques.
  • Obtain “hands-on” experience to your building of Sandtrooper costume.
  • Receive comprehensive training that will teach you what it takes to be a Police Officer Of The MEPD
  • Benefit from interpersonal growth through self-discipline, teamwork, challenging experiences, and high standards of performance and personal conduct.
  • Learn responsibility to self and others through Charity and Event attendance

Through participation in the program Explorers will develop:

  • Knowledge about the mission of locating those pesky droids
  • Experience in blasting found droids

You will learn:

  • How to build a Sandtrooper Costume
  • The importance of screen accurate replication
  • Respect for what it takes to build a set of armor and the role we play in the galaxy.

You will have an opportunity to network with:

  • Sandtroopers from around the globe
  • SWAT troopers
  • Prop Builders

How can You join?

The answer is easy:

  • Have Mom or Dad help you get a set of Armor and ask lots of question.
  • Post your progress here
