Baron
SO here is some pics of my weathering. I have never really weathered any of this size before, but once I got going I think I kinda got the hang of it....

Baron
So, I finished up the helmet, boots and pauldron. Ironically, it is dirtier in person. Just gotta weather the backpack now and build my PVC E-11, make the ammo packs and I think I am set. As always, feedback is always welcome

Baron
I ended up going the acrylic paint route. These are the colors I used: I should mention I used this as a starter reference: http://forum.mepd.net/index.php?showtopic=4973 I put some amounts on a paper plate, dabbed the corner of a paper towel and put spots all over the area I was working on. Then with a wet towel I kinda rolled it over the paint spots to spread it out. I have a few more spots to do, I can make a small video if anyone is interested and some pictures. I meant to do that anyway, but you get on a roll and don't think about it. I was going for the dusty dirty kind of look and I think I achieved that for the most part. I swear I am almost there! Baron
Actually, these pictures were really dark and I had to lighten them up in Photoshop so most if not all the detail in the weathering on the pack is lost for sure. The pack is dirtier than it looks in these pics, but I am gonna take better ones this weekend. If you look at my pack build thread, you can really see the weathering in my last post there.
