TheHunterDavis
E6000 doesnt seem to be bonding my AP armor very well. Is there a trick to getting it to bond better? sanding the application areas or anything? it is my first build so im a little nervous to zap-a-gap and zip kick it. any help would be awesome!!!!! Beren
Hunter, I used the E6000 on my AP kit and had trouble at first. The trick is to be VERY patient... sand each part to be glued, apply a liberal amount of E6000, and clamp tight. Leave it alone for at least 12 hours. Any excess is very easy to cut and peel away like rubber cement, so don't worry about making a mess. If you do one piece at a time, all should hold well. My entire armor has held together through many troops. Good luck!
Loki Thrasher
Yea brother as Beren said, I am building my NE kit and its taking very long... so sand the underside of the cover strip, sand the side of the piece that you are gluing the strip into... add the E6000 in good amounts and clamp/magnet/tape together let sit for 12-24 hours and it holds. its patience man otherwise the other piece split apart and don't hold to well...
