Felice
Hey folks, i think today is a good day to start with my WIP. Here are some basic points: armor: TM blaster: doopydoos fieldpack: dirty boy and me:-) shoes: jodhpurs handguards: Karin pouches: Anthony Befor i start with the pics in want just to thanks Alex and Daniel for their help and inspiration. And i want to thank to all troopers out there which did so many good tutorials and WIPs with really good "instruction manuals"! (you ask why the armor isn't ready? i just waiting for my brackets:-) ) Now, say it with pictures: Now...trimming.. uups... where is my irobot???? before sanding finished first fitting

Smally
Oooh I love a good build thread. Great work Felix. Nice to see you're using some original parts on the back pack too. Be sure to keep us updated mate
iconoclasta_88
Looking really good! Great progress!!! Congrats! One thing I noticed, if you are going fot the "Look sir droids" version, the pack used by that trooper is the same as the "Move along" trooper used, prior to the repairments, so the blue box should have 5 horizontal strips on the cover, not just 3. So maybe better fix that now than later in the process of SWAT clearance. That should not affect your 501st or Police Officer clearances anyway. Other than that. Looks like you are on your way... Keep us posted. Saludos
Felice
ups! so i have a big big problem, because i just have the box from Rick with 3 stripes:-( is any body out there with an idea?
iconoclasta_88
No bog deal bro. Just cut 2 strips from scrap plastic and add them inbetween the other three. Lots of troopers have done this. A very easy mod. Saludos.
Felice
that was my idea too bro;-) but i already fixed the cistern and glue the two boxes....so i have to do some "frickel" (a nice german word) work! Thanks Juan for the hint!!!!! The worst case is to open the boxes and reinstall the cistern....but who said that the swat road is an autobahn?? Rolf
WWwwuhhaAA buddy Felix, you got some sweet stuff going on right there i must say, i´m sure we will see a top bad ***/top class accurate replica look sir droids over the next weeks time from you. Keep up the good work bro, you are doing tip top A+ One small thing, it looks like there are cut out 8 holes, and not just 7. But it looks like 7, the 8 hole all to the right looking at this pic are just very small a like
Felice
Thanks my friend for the positive words!! it motivates me to do my pack upgrade right now...ok, after my work:-) i did a lot of research, looked at any references i found several times..it makes me a little bit anger to overlock these detail. but it makes more fun to concentrate on one thing the 8 hole is already drilled. the pic of the bucket is an older one. i also have to drill the hole in the mortar tube, installing the lap pipe and the sticky tapes on the cistern. and yes...to strap the armor
DarthChridan
Well done, dude....very well done so far The matter with the main box should be not a really big problem, eh?!?... and like I had written in the german forum...your Bapty blaster is awesome and I should also build such a blaster And there's no 'Autobahn' ....there's only the highway to **** Oh and hey....finally I had also the little hole drilled--->>
Felice
Hey Daniel... on the autobahn it's allowed to drive 250km/h;-) on the highway....möööp möööp GOOOOOOOOD MOOOOOOOOOORNING MOS EISLEY!!!!!!!!!!! Today (right now) i did some upgrades on the pack and to the bapty... here the progress... first of all...back to the beginning now the little poor green house with some strange hairs;-) the result (tomorrow painting) the new soft bapty weathering and new bucket pics uuuups...... and the best place on hold it seems to be a little droid loving sandtroopers i go to bed my friends..... so long...move along
DarthChridan
The question is, why you can't remove the radio of the main box?!?
Felice
The answer is, i don't have to remove the radio from the main box. the box stripes you see in the movie are only on the right side. and...i had no time and need to remove the radio
DarthChridan
Lazy sock ...but hey...the radio cover the main box...the rest is not visible. All things are well Well, let's see the end result.....
