SAND DEVIL
Dieter, Beautiful build sir. Great job. Michael will give you some great perspectives on your build, not that I see any, but that's why he is the DO. Wow, right out of the park brother. BTW, thanks for your service too. SCRIBBLER
@ Dieter - Thank you for your interest in joining the ranks of the MEPD, Brother! Before we begin, I'd just like to say Semper Fi Let's begin... APPLICATION REVIEW (PART 1) Name: Dieter Jobe Legion ID #: TD-11000 Forum Name: JRHD89 Garrison: Tyranus I.) HELMET: a.) Green Lenses -- CHECK b.) Paint Color on Traps / Tears -- CHECK c.) Correct Number Of Teeth -- CHECK d.) Mic Tips -- CHECK e.) Vocoder Color (Black) -- CHECK f.) Tube Stripes -- CHECK g.) Rank Bar -- CHECK h.) Brow -- CHECK ** Additional Comments -- A.) DEPLOYMENT OFFICER: Excellent construction and attention to details are noted and sound. Good job! II.) Armor / Suit Details: a.) Canvas Straps -- CHECK b.) Neck Seal -- CHECK c.) Black Undersuit -- CHECK d.) Shoulder Bells -- CHECK e.) Biceps -- CHECK f.) Forearms -- CHECK g.) Pauldron -- CHECK h.) Chest / Back Plate -- CHECK I.) Kidney / Butt Plate -- CHECK j.) Ab Plate / Side Rivets / Cod -- CHECK k.) Thighs -- CHECK l.) Shins / Calves -- (SEE COMMENTS) m.) Sniper Plate -- CHECK n.) Boots -- CHECK o.) Gloves -- CHECK p.) Hand Plates / Guards -- CHECK q.) Ammo Belt (Waist) w/ correct Angled Edges -- CHECK r.) Ammo Belt (Right Knee) -- CHECK s.) Canvas Belt -- CHECK t.) Pouches -- CHECK (SEE COMMENTS) u.) Weathering -- CHECK v.) Crotch Snaps -- CHECK w.) Side Screws (Ears): CHECK ** Additional Comments -- A.) DEPLOYMENT OFFICER: -- Can you submit close up pics (various angles) of your left shin armor (worn on leg, please). I want to see a more detailed shot of the sniper plate and overall look. -- The accurate gloves are dead on. It's always great to see new recruits go for the 'latex guards / chemical gloves' from the start when seeking deployment. Nice. -- Your armor weathering is top notch and has the right amount of that 'desert worn' look we tend to look for. -- As for your pouches, although acceptable for Standard Officer Deployment, you may want to look into upgrading your pouches for a more accurate look. Especially if and when you decide to go S.W.A.T. ... * The Shoulder Pouch should look like this: (photo courtesy of TD-8266) And here is a shot of the more preferred (accurate) belt worn 3 slot pouch (leather)... (photo courtesy of BOO) ** Please contact TD-8266 (Anthony) or BOO (Brad) here on the MEPD Boards and they should be able to hook you up with accurate pouches at a great price. III.) BACKPACK: a.) Details -- (SEE COMMENTS) b..) Weathering -- CHECK A.) DEPLOYMENT OFFICER: Excellent pack construction. Although acceptable for standard deployment, the placement of the Radio and Cistern should be redone eventually. (Just as Rick (CO) stated). It appears the grouping should move a bit over to the right (Looking at the front of the pack straight on, that is) Oh, can you submit another pic of the Bee Stinger placement? IV.) WEAPON(S): T-21 and E-11 a.) Details -- CHECK b..) Weathering -- CHECK ** Additional Comments -- A.) DEPLOYMENT OFFICER: Anthony Bailey's T-21s are always cool to see and his attention to details go without saying. Definitely a nice choice for a BFG. Also, thanks for showing the D-Ring detail on the E-11 Mod. Overall, the weapons look great. But, If you do decide to go S.W.A.T., you may want to look at getting a more screen accurate E-11 model (size and specs), if the selected TD uses one, that is. I definitely need to get the more accurate pouches...thanks for the POCs. I used the Field Backpack build from Scootch - a great tutorial. Where do I need to look for correct placement of the cistern and radio? -Detail of sniper plate: http://s1277.beta.photobucket.com/user/jrhd-89/media/TD-11000/P1030215_zps371dfa7c.jpg.html?sort=3&o=0 http://s1277.beta.photobucket.com/user/jrhd-89/media/TD-11000/P1030216_zpsd8a87247.jpg.html?sort=3&o=1 http://s1277.beta.photobucket.com/user/jrhd-89/media/TD-11000/P1030217_zps14e61418.jpg.html?sort=3&o=2 http://s1277.beta.photobucket.com/user/jrhd-89/media/TD-11000/P1030218_zpsfc67baad.jpg.html?sort=3&o=3 http://s1277.beta.photobucket.com/user/jrhd-89/media/TD-11000/P1030219_zps28677030.jpg.html?sort=3&o=4 http://s1277.beta.photobucket.com/user/jrhd-89/media/TD-11000/P1030220_zps343d62b2.jpg.html?sort=3&o=5 -Bee stinger detail: http://s1277.beta.photobucket.com/user/jrhd-89/media/TD-11000/P1030221_zps135819b2.jpg.html?sort=3&o=6 http://s1277.beta.photobucket.com/user/jrhd-89/media/TD-11000/P1030222_zps38d7d28b.jpg.html?sort=3&o=7 http://s1277.beta.photobucket.com/user/jrhd-89/media/TD-11000/P1030223_zpsbd7e8e6b.jpg.html?sort=3&o=8 Thank you again and Semper Fi!!
