Art Andrews
Just got done reweathering my armor for Dragon Con. I am still not totally happy with it but I think it is getting better. The weathering I had last year was very one dimensional. This has a bit more depth to it. I'll probably reweather it before C3... We'll just have to see. BTW, a BIG thanks to GINO for the armor, and Dean O for help with the weathering and all my other friends who have given tons of moral support when I just wanted to throw this crap in the trash. Weathering is a bit frustrating at time... Oh, and one final thing... I finally have my real snooper scope on the MG15... Even though it is not mounted like it will be once I have the cutsom mounts, it is at least on there! http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/misc/RPF_Im...Weather3_01.jpg http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/misc/RPF_Im...Weather3_03.jpg http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/misc/RPF_Im...Weather3_04.jpg http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/misc/RPF_Im...Weather3_05.jpg http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/misc/RPF_Im...Weather3_06.jpg http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/misc/RPF_Im...Weather3_07.jpg http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/misc/RPF_Im...Weather3_08.jpg

The Dirty Trooper
I have seen some crap weathering in my time but yours is COOL as ****. I have seen it when they use a can of spray paint and it look very artificial. Can I ask how did you weather yours so convincing and realistic? abntroop
on a side note, you CAN get spray paint to look right. ACE sells a sandy colored & textured aerosol, and it dries fairly fast. upside is you work it a patch at a time, and lightly sand/ scuff it with some 220, and it comes out pretty friggin kewl as well. Art Andrews
Sorry guys. Haven't stopped by here in a while. I regard to what helmet I have, it is a customized GINO helmet, built and assembled to match Davin Felth's helmet ("Look Sir Droids"). The armor is also GINO armor.
