CDR Thire
So I'm thinking to myself...self, time for a change - something simpler. How about a Sandy...they're classic - obviously cooler than a garden variety TK...got to be easier than all the other things I've built... Ha! My self-imposed deadline for my build was C6. I honestly couldn't have done this without the amazing resource that MEPD is and especially tutorials I found from Bluey, Panda Trooper and others. I've learned a bunch - have aspirations for SWAT eventually...but must crawl before walking, walk before running. Here's the final product - my STS Capt. (still will tweak up to C6): Helmet - eFX (heavily modified...ears & mic tips from UK, S strip from vintage gas pump business (can't remember name)) Armor - AM Boots - TK Boots Pauldron - Trooper1 Gloves/handguards - Trooperbay Pouches - Captsafe66 T21 - Slavefive (lightest he's ever made) Still need brad (?) for cod and fans for bucket...please - if you have suggestions for making this better pass them along. The pix make my legs appear bigger than they really are - the kit yields wider parts vs. more round...if that makes sense. Thanks again for the assistance my dirty brethren Geoff
