I have a HIPS ATA bucket and I love the detail on it, but it does have a few thin spots, and lately I've been trying to figure out of to strengthen up the bucket a little, but so far I haven't come up with anything. ground pounder Posted May 22, 2012 Share Posted May 22, 2012 Cut a piece of cloth (I use canvas from the belt) a little bigger than the area you want to strengthen and soak the cloth in E6000. Lay it on the area (inside of helmet of course). Once it fully dries it will reinforce weak areas. I've used that method on a couple weak areas of he helmet and armor and it works great.
