    Hey everyone. I have a HIPS ATA bucket and I love the detail on it, but it does have a few thin spots, and lately I've been trying to figure out of to strengthen up the bucket a little, but so far I haven't come up with anything. Just wondering if anyone has had any success and if so what did you do? Thanks in advance everyone!

    Nope, nothing yet. I haven't checked back in a little while either. School has kept me pretty busy. That and having the worst flu ever for a week. I'm still getting over it, not back to 100% yet lol.

    The shaft of the prod is made of RCA antenna pole and the tip is a combination of common sink fittings lol I considered making a shorter one since my current one is 8' tall. If I do I'll be using the machined tip.

    Update! I just submitted my pictures for 501st approval last night, and from what I'm told it should be a cakewalk to get my approval. I thought I'd post up the finished pictures for everyone here at MEPD to see. Hopefully I will be joining you guys very soon!

    Thank you Sandtrooper. We did it with oil paint burnt umber and black with a sponge brush and then dusted it with tile grout to give it a dusty look and to help the paint dry. the flash from the camera washed out a bit of the color on the hand plates and helmet so we're gonna add a bit more before my 501st pictures and my deployment pictures.

    Hey everyone I finally got some pictures of my build. Its getting finished this Sunday and hopefully approved soon after. Then I can work on getting MEPD deployed . The only things left are my backpack and shoulder pouch!
