  1. I agree. That's why I have them everywhere although I don't have the original Strapping system. Just looks more like the real Deal with screws everywhere! But they are indeed only required in the chest for PO and SWAT.
  2. Your Weathering looks good, I really like it! Only thing I would change (and that's only my personal preference): Give it a wash with a lighter color, a little bit more yellow overall. I used that one first 062 Earth Vallejo Game Color 17ml https://www.amazon.de/dp/B000PH9ITC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_mcwKzbY8MYX78 After that, I applied the heavier Weathering and the darker colors. But as stated above: That's just my personal preference, it needn't be your way [emoji6] Cheers and keep up the good work! TD 31037 reporting in!!
  3. Good job so far Martin! I really like your (and your father's) attitude towards crafting things on your own. TD 31037 reporting in!!
  4. Good job, brother(s)!! TD 31037 reporting in!!
  5. You can compare PO more with Centurion over at FISD. Just look at what you need for Lvl2 here and Lvl3 at FISD. The criterias are almost identical. When I was still shiny (I converted my TK to TD) I thought about aiming for EIB and Cent, but would have to buy another chestplate for Centurion as AM chests are not acceptable. So the answer to your question would be: Yes, the screws are essential for PO. And yes, you would have to buy a new Chestplate if it isn't possible with yours. But it's worth the work, believe me! Cheers! TD 31037 reporting in!!
  6. That's a fine looking Trooper! Good luck brother!! TD 31037 reporting in!!

  8. CRL is much better now! I like it a lot [emoji4] But (there's always one...): Details on RotJ-helmets were NOT hand painted! They were always decals. So Lvl2 and up should not show hand painted details Question: Does the SE Armor have ribbed shoulder straps? I think so. TD 31037 reporting in!!
  9. We have a few RotJ's in our Garrison, but sadly they are not willing to go the dirty route. I tried my best TD 31037 reporting in!!
  10. Congrats! Good Job [emoji1303] TD 31037 reporting in!!
  11. Then we're talking about 2 different starting points...you think of the troopers who already have an approved RotJ (not much of them around, you're right) , I'm thinking of entirely new builds for the SE trooper. But the number of producers is a good argument I have to admit. I'm only aware of TM and CfO. The costs are the same as ANH Armor, there should be no big difference. As to getting people into the Legion with a SE Trooper as their first costume: Wouldn't it be really bad for them if they want to go the PO or SWAT route and realize they won't be able to because of their armor? I think the wording in the CRL should be changed for all LvL2 and up and specify for every single part that the RotJ armor is needed. There is one sentence in the beginning, but you know how this works....people don't read properly and it shouldn't be harder for new recruits as it already is, should it?
  12. The CRL looks good, but I've found a few things that bug me: - Handguards: If LvL2/3 is accurate RotJ-armor, they shouldn't be made of latex or similar material. ABS shells are the way to go. - Chest-armor: Original Strapping in RotJ didn't use brackets and screws, so they shouldn't be present for LvL2/3. - Backpack: There is no SE Trooper without a pack, so why is it optional? I'm still not happy with the ANH-Armor being used for basic approval. We are one of the most accurate detatchments and we're proud of it. Why lower our standards by accepting ANH-Armor for the SE-Trooper when it clearly is RotJ? But I don't want to make a fuss, just my 2 cents [emoji6]

  17. HeyHo. Good work on the CRL so far! But: Level 2 for the helmet says 'details must be hand painted'. RotJ-helmets were not hand-painted, they used Decals for everything. So this should be changed. TD 31037 reporting in!!
  18. But he'd need a ROTJ-armor for that SE-Sandtrooper That would mean buying a complete new set from either CfO or TM (both do awesome RotJ-Armor!!). I'd love to do that (the controversial nature of the SE-Trooper always attracted me!) but I really don't have the funds now
  19. I really like your Weathering! Good luck with your deployment. TD 31037 reporting in!!
