Oh yes, i´m a big boy I´m waiting for the Belt, i think it will arrive next week. The leather belt is very loose around my bottom, so when the original belt is on the armor, the gap is closed - now it is 10 mm wide. I must cut something from the shim on the right side, it is a little to big, but i mus wait for the right belt. Today i made some hooks for the bizeps and do some strapings .. holiday is great!

Ok, yesterday, we glued some parts from the legs and arms. This morning, we do the first paintjob at the helmets (black). Yesterday arrived the DLT-19 from spain. Thank you Pedro from the Spanish Garrison for the great work. I do some changes on it (paintjob, weathering, wire ..) and this is it now (the weathering in real looks better than on the pics):

Second Grind work and a little paintjob. And this one from the postman (thanks trooper1).

Here the first result. Install the Shim, fill the gap with liquid abs and after the first grind work.

Which templates are the correct? Handpainted-style or TD-Sand?

Ok, here the first steps to extend the kidney plate. I do it like kman and glued a plate behind the shim plate. I bend the Shim plate a little bit, so it fits better. Thank you Paul on this way, for the extra ABS.

There was a thread in the fisd or here, where a people extend his Kidneyplate. I don´t find them .. My first thought was, to bend the edge from the plate. But is it necessary? Is it possible to make the plate without the bend an the KP? Here my first try of bend the edges:

OK, no elastic band allowed?

The first kit is arrived - thank you Paul!! Now the first question. I´m a little "bigger" than other people (94kg). The gap between the AB Plate and the Kidneyplate is ca. 6.5 cm. Is it possible to close this gap with a elastic band in white? I have seen this by another TD, but i don´t find the pic. First the original: Here a sketch as i imagine it. I sketch the elastic band yellow. - What do you think??
