Cheers. So long story short you can't just go straight for a screen featured character. Any reason why? Just curious.

So I have a ANH stunt TK, looking to convert to TD. I'd like to troop as this guy, docking bay 94 captain. Is it possible to get approved just as this costume? Does the local GML approve that, or is this jumping straight to PO level that needs Mepd approval??

But is hand-painting them NECESSARY for basic approval? CRL seem's to indicate that's the case...

Question - the CRL notes the tube stripes must be painted for any level...but I thought I read elsewhere that was only for PO and SWAT, not basic 501st approval. I have decals on my current TK I am converting, and have no designs at this time to apply for PO or SWAT - is the painting a requirement? If painting IS needed for basic CRL approval, has anyone created/sells a template, or any other tips/tricks??

Is Officer and SWAT (the Level 2 and 3 you reference I'm assuming) the equivalent of EIB and CENTURION for TK's?

Hi all! Jefferson here (TK23007) in Denver CO, been TK approved since March 2016, loving trooping when I can with my fellow TK's (did Weird Al concert last Month!!!), but looking to separate myself from the pack and get a lil Dirty!!

Hi all - looking at gettin' Dirty as have always loved the TD's vs TK, but am strapped for time and money right now. Is it possible to get 501st approved with no Backpack (obviously there is the TD in ANH without the pack) and troop, and build the pack later if I am so inclined? How does not having a pack hinder "deployment" (to be honest, not even sure what that means!!!). Know about the physical conversions I need to make to the TK, and also will be looking into my BFG (T21)
