  1. Yes very, as this specific trooper has never been done, just the guardian was done in the past. Someone not knowing would have done what i did and weather and build via the trooper in the falcon take off room and not the alley.. As the pictures are not very clear, its an assumption that has to be made that they are the same trooper, just a different pouch config on belt. Almost there non the less.. Chris
  2. Roger that brother, I do agree, just wasn't 100%. i wasn't sure of the similarity if there was. As it is very hard to tell from the lack of screen time on the tuck and roll trooper. I also agree changing the entire suit of armor is unlikely & a belt change is. I will do all the changes you have previously requested and get back you guys when the changes are complete.. Great discussion, thought we might be changing a standard there for a second so so close.. Chris
  3. Roger that, Thanks again, yes its much better. The right pouch was taken off and replaced with another for a recent troop, i will lift it back up where it was no problem. Chest weathering, i changed it as i was looking at the "Tuck and Roll" (reference pics attached) trooper in the falcon take off scene, no problem i will change it if deemed required after reference pics review. Helmet cracks (paint) i can change these too not an issue. The teeth though, i thought the 6 teeth were the Sargent in the alley and the dunes not the alley/falcon captain.. **I was just shown a pic ive never seen. I will change that and fill them in to have only 6 As requested here are my reference pictures. This is the known "Guardian" (2 small Spanish pouches) in theory this is not the "Tuck and Roll" (1 small Spanish, 1 German leather MP40) trooper im emulating. Having said that i do understand that the next pics are hard to gauge reference, but they are different troopers Tuck and Roll references, how i based my weathering on the last complete redo. Thanks Felix for this for the teeth reference i have never see a front view and will make the changes required to the teeth..
  4. Making FX base level acceptable (501st) is going to require a ton of work (ab, cod, butt, kidney & chest modifications, removing overlap on every piece to allow for cover strip building). Helmet will need to be replaced on top of that.. as stated by Jason above buying armor from a reputable vendor (Vetted) is the best option Here is the Link to the FISD list of current vetted manufactures of armor. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/
  5. All my Barracuda network appliances are telling me the mepd.net is now black flagged, need to get it back on the white list.. Once a person reports the domain to a reputation service it spreads like wildfire.. need to submit a removal request, here is the link.. http://www.barracudacentral.org/rbl/removal-request Another thing to check with the hijack (Redirect) is IIS and the DNS records, there may be a hook on the DNS records. Just verify they are pointing to the right name servers.. Hope this helps Chris
  6. Being in the UK, have you contacted TM ? Im not sure if Pauls armor will accept the belly Same with RS, not too sure about fitment. AM2.0 & RTMod do ship to the UK.. Im not familiar with DA Chris
  7. Jon, Welcome to the sandbox, most of us do have a bit of a gut. AM 2.0 & RTMod are great options for this. Right now AP armor is offering over sized ab and kidney plates (Fits 42 inch waist no shimming needed) but the rest of the armor does tend to run quite small. Max chest size for AP would be 40-44 inches. max thigh width at top 22-24 inches, don't be fooled into thinking it will fit us husky guys with out a lot of work.. I currently have AP armor (most of it), but have since replaced the chest, back and shoulders with RTMod as im quite large in the chest area. (49+ inches), i also had to shim the thigh armor by 3.5 inches to make them fit me. The ab plate was great i took almost 5 inches out of it. AM2.0 and RTMod are far bigger in all other aspects.. If i was to do it again, i would buy AM2.0 or RTMod kit from the start as they are designed to fit us larger troopers. If you haven't done so, start looking at builds & deployment submissions on here (Officer Deployment & Swat) and FISD (EIB and Centurion) there are a lot of plus sized troopers running the suggested armor AM2.0 and RTMod. Hope this helps, Chris
