  1. I agree, it looks good and you’re on the right track. Unless you go for SWAT, this type of weathering should be good for basic approval.
  2. I do know some local members who have ordered from Trooperbay and have been approved no problem. I prefer my Trooper1 pauldron and blaster8266 pouches but nothing wrong with going through Trooperbay.
  3. Thanks for sharing those screenshots. I'll have to keep those in case this question comes up again.
  4. The first picture makes it seem really high up, might be the angle of the picture. The other 2 look good to me.
  5. I hadn't thought of that. I reached out to FISD but didn't get much of a response. Is there anyone already in those groups that could reach out for us? I wouldn't know where to start.
  6. This is awesome. Thanks for sharing, I didn't even know it was available.
  7. Only question is which trooper can you emulate with this or will you have to redo the weathering?
  8. You beat me to it. The requested fixes, including pictures, have been sent to the LMO office for review. We now wait on them to either approve the CRL or ask for additional fixes. Thank you all for your patience and for your assistance in getting this CRL published!
  9. You'll see on the plate it is shaped like a hexagon. I used the half way mark as my guide, with half on the shin and half up in the air. Hopefully that makes sense.

  11. I made a post on FISD asking for anyone to be a CRL model, for those who may have the pack. I haven't gotten much of a response.

  13. Just a quick update for everyone. The LMO reviewed the CRL and requested a few changes be made, including a few picture updates on the individual pieces. We are working on getting those changes made and then resubmitting to the LMO team. Thank you for your patience, I hope Command Staff can have this done soon.
  14. Members of the MEPD, thank you for allowing me to be one of your armorers. I joined the 501st back in 2015 and after initially debating between a clean TK and the dirty TD, I just couldn't stay away from the sandbox. Shortly after completing my kit, I completed my scratch-made pack and joined the ranks of the deployed troopers. You could say that I have a bug for building scratch-made props now. Since obtaining my deployed status, I have completed a home-made T-21, RT-97c, and most recently the DLT-19 (huge thanks to Pandatrooper and HappyTrooper for the templates). While they might not be the most tip-top accurate as I wanted them to be durable trooping blasters, I've put a little bit of myself into each blaster and I love each one. When I joined my Garrison, I was one of 3 active Sandtroopers. Since then that number has climbed to 8 with the last having been approved a week ago. I won't take all the credit but I like to think I helped each one not only choose the TD over the clean white TKs but I am always assisting others get their kits completed and answering questions. I make it a point to talk to all of our potential members who want to go TK and try to convince them to come get dirty in the sandbox. Please let me know if you have questions, I’m happy and willing to help.
